When they came back with supplies, Dakota was relieved. He knew Oceti Šakowiŋ territory was somewhat safe, but he still worried whenever Ken went off somewhere without him. He had a hard time thinking of her as an adult, even after everything she’d accomplished.
He felt better knowing Terrell would be there to protect her.
