Chapter 16
Dakota filled Terrell in once he was conscious enough to understand the situation. After some heavy TLC and a good meal, Terrell regained most of the energy he had from the day before. Raz kept a look out at one of the large windows that faced the street. Around mid-afternoon, several vehicles pulled up in front of the converted school. Gall got out, picked up a box, and walked into the building. Less than a minute later, a knock once again announced her presence.
When Dakota greeted her, she said nothing at first, but instead quietly walked into the suite and set the box, which was covered with an ornate tapestry, on their coffee table.
