Chapter 16
Grey had woken me up in the morning with a kiss and told me he was leaving for work. It must have been 6am. I didn’t understand how the man functioned on such little sleep. But I couldn’t, I ended up waking up around noon. Grey had kept me up till the early morning and the exhaustion had been too much for me.
Grey’s cook/housekeeper, Mrs. Harish here in New York was the sweetest. I had meet her properly this morning. I had been a bit nervous because of my time spent with Mrs. Burton in England. But she had been amazing.
I stepped into the kitchen a bit stressed, wondering if I was going to have to argue with the staff here as well but I was completely wrong.
