Chapter 17
The Date
I was finally ready. I had taken longer to get ready than Grey had wanted but it was my first date. I thought I deserved to look and feel my best. I had chosen a full sleeved fitted navy midi length dress, with a deep v neck and a pair of strappy white heels.
I was nervous. I kept reminding myself that Grey was my husband and being nervous didn’t make any sense but still the butterflies in my stomach wouldn’t take a break. I took a few deep breathes and grabbed my white clutch and left the room.
As I walked down the stairs, I saw Greyson Novak looking as handsome as on our wedding day and holding the biggest bouquet of the most beautiful flowers. I couldn’t help but laugh and smile. This was a view I never thought I would see.
