Getting To Know Lee

“Oh my! I had a blast, Belle! I can’t even recall the last time I had this freedom and fun! I owe you and Henry one.” he told me.

“I’m glad you liked it. I had fun as well,” I told him. Why do I feel sad that a day with him will soon come to an end? He’s humble, he doesn’t even think he looks handsome. He made me feel more confident, he pays attention.

“Seriously, Belle, thank you. I had a busy like a whole year busy filming and everything and this is my first vacation where no cameras and fans disturbed me and I’m grateful for the company. I hope one day, you will visit Korea with henry. I would be glad to tour you around. Just save my number and my personal social media account, okay? My agency usually manages my artist account and I use my real name in my personal one.”

“Okay, no worries. I’ll save it. Thanks for your offer and I’m pretty sure I will go there once school is not busy and of course, I need to save more if I want to tour a bit longer in your country.

“Can I ask you a question Lee?”, I asked him.

“Yes, of course, What is it?” he answered.

“I’m not sure how to ask this? Looking into your eyes I can see through your sadness. I’m quite familiar with that because you know I am the same as you. I see through you. Our eyes could never lie. Is there something bothering you?”

“I don’t usually open up much, you know, but I’m really going through something, one of my friends- a co-actor decided to take his own life because of depression. The reason I went here is that and I also needed to talk to a doctor. I hate to do it in my country because of the media. I’m actually thankful to Henry for offering his place to me to crash in. I don’t really want to stay in a hotel.”

Wait, What’s that again? He is staying in Henry’s apartment? The apartment that is near our house? 

“So you mean to say you’re staying at Henry’s place that happens to be near our house?” I asked him.

“Well yes and I actually met your Nana a while ago. Henry and I visited her. Nana reminds me of my Grandma as well. My grandma raised me like her own in the province since my parents are busy with their careers.”

“Oh, so did Nana ask for your autograph?”

“Yes, she did and we even have a selfie but I told her to post in when I left the country and she understood. I have to sign a few sets of autographs for her friends as well,”

“Lee, in case you needed someone to talk to, I'm just here. Don’t do something stupid seriously, even when you’re back in Korea. I have Kakaotalk, just talk to me if you need someone to talk to.”

“Belle, you have no idea how those words mean to me. Thank you for the genuine friendship. I know a lot about you because of Henry and I really look forward to meeting you and Henry doesn’t exaggerate his description of you. He’s a lucky man.”

"Does he really talk about me to all of you?", I'm totally blushing right now. I can't imagine what Henry told them.”

“Yes! I even followed you on your i********: using my personal account to browse  your pictures and I had a lot of good laughs especially your short clips about Nana and your obsession with Kdramas and our culture."

“Really? What is your account name in Insta? I’ll follow you back!” I excitedly asked him.

“It’s SeoJun and my display picture is my dog.” 

“Oh! Yes! I found you! I’ll follow you back.” I excitedly told him. After I followed him I received a call from Henry, telling me he’ll be late and won’t be able to come to the cafe. I talked to Lee about it and well we decided to go home.

“So, do you mind if I crash at your place while waiting for Henry? I actually forgot his house key? Is that okay?”

“Yeah! Sure, no worries. So let’s go. Let’s ride a taxi?”

“No! No! I have a car rental, I brought it with me and parked it in a pay parking area near your school and use GPS to get here in case you are curious,” he explained with a matching silly smile.

“I’m quite impressed! Okay so let’s go!”

We decided to walk across the parking space where he parked his rental car and well this guy is really something. He just happened to rent a sports car!

"Isn't your car too oblivious for someone who would like to get noticed?", I asked him.

He brushed his hair and well bit her lower lip before he answered "Ha Ha I'm sorry, I love cars and this car, I've been wanting to drive it by myself for so long and I can't even do that since my agency assigned a driver and a PA for me.

"No need to say sorry, you deserved to do things that you like because you've worked hard for it."

Lee opens the door for me and made sure I wear my seatbelt before we go home. I immediately update Nana that I'll be going home with Lee so she knows the drill.
