A Perfect Dessert

While we were talking, the song I Like You So Much plays in the background. Sigh! Why do I feel like I’m cheating with Henry? I would never do that, I promised myself I’ll never be that kind of person but this person in front of me has this strong pull that makes me want to talk to him more and ask him if he's okay. Hell! I’m too far from his league, I know that.

“Hi Darling, I’m back, are you sure you don’t want any dessert? Like, I know you, I know you like something sweet.”

Then suddenly he asked me “So you like desserts, what can you recommend to me here? I wanna try as well, we can just share if you like?”, he asked.

“Oh yeah! I remember Lee, well this guy couldn’t live without anything sweet, maybe let him try the choco lava here, you haven’t tried it yet but well you love chocolate anyway.”

“Hmm sure, maybe choco lava and vanilla ice cream are perfect,” I told Henry and looked for Lee for his approval and he just nodded.

“Aghh! This is good, I liked it!.’ Lee said.

“Yes, it tastes good and there are a lot of dessert cafes near our University as well,” I told him.

“Wow! I would love to try it after my meeting the day after tomorrow! Do you want to join, guys?”

Everyone just said straight no.

“Oh c’mon! I’m so hurt! And then he looked at me and Henry with those puppy eyes. 

Henry glanced at me and asked,” Do you have time to tour him around, darling? I have an organizational meeting that day. Be an angel to this poor soul. Hahaha”

At first, I wanted to make an excuse but looking at him waiting for me to answer made me say “Yes, I’m free after lunch,” I told them. Then, I saw another smile again and this time showing his pearly white. Argh! How this even possible, his lips were like a baby. Small and pinkish! Oh! Well! Where does that comment come from? Seriously, that doesn’t sound nice. Hello self, just STOP!

The group decided to go to a KTV after dinner. Thankfully, I’m blessed with a singing voice so at least in that area I’m on a par with the girls and well with these celebrities.

I choose to sing an upbeat song to put the group into the mood and to stop myself from this weird emotion that I’m feeling but when I’m proud of myself that I managed to control my emotion that’s when Lee decided to sing a f*****g song! I know he can sing from his guestings but I didn’t know he could really sing this good as in really good that you can really record it at this f*****g moment. I am so doomed!

“Are you having fun, Darling?." Henry asked me.

“Yes, I am. Thank you!” I told him.

The day that I’ve dread has come. Why do I dread it because part of me is afraid, afraid to be in this sinkhole called falling in love with this Korean actor? I mean he is really way too out of my league and too good to be true.

Hi! I’m actually outside your university, I’m wearing a black cap and a mask. 

                                                                                                       Wait a sec I’m almost there. 

And then, that’s where I saw him. I just hold my breath. How can this man look so beautiful with a cap and a facemask on?

“Hi! Sorry for being late, my professor held us a bit longer in my last period. Have you eaten your lunch?”, I asked him.

“Not yet, I was hoping to try some new dishes near your school and well of course the dessert mukbangs”, he said to me.

“Oh! Okay, we can fix that. C’mon I have this favorite place here and they serve the best rice meals in town and it’s cheap!”, I excitedly told him.

“I would love to try that”, I can see the excitement glimmering in his eyes that was not present when we first met.

“I hope you don’t mind that I’m wearing a mask, I’m afraid people here could recognize me.”

“I really don’t mind, I sometimes wear a mask if I have allergies, you know? Oh! We’re here already!I told him.

I’m not sure if someone spotted him but there are a group of girls who were looking in his direction and I could hear them arguing. I heard the one with a long saying, it’s impossible that he’s the actor they knew. I mean what is his business here? Maybe they just look the same.

I ordered the house specialty and I hope he would love it and for our dessert, I will let him try the fried ice cream first.

“What flavor do you like for your ice cream?”, I sent him a message.

                                                                “Surprise me. I’ll eat whatever. Thank you!”  I replied.

As I went up to the rooftop, that’s when I feel nervous. We are alone. I’m afraid he sees through me. I hope not,

I saw him sitting at the far most corner, leg crossed and scrolling on his phone. He removed his face mask but not his cap. My heart wants to scream MINE! I am so doomed!
