“The lake house!” The pregnant omega practically leaped out of the passenger seat of Daniel’s car when they arrived at their destination.
Daniel smiled fondly at his mate... his new wife (Gosh, they’re a married couple!) before taking in their surroundings.
The lake house was covered in a thick layer of pure snow, the lake itself was frozen over and he sighed in relief when not a vile squirrel was in sight.
Daniel had always wanted to spend Christmas here and had sent Alex and Lane over earlier in the week to put up a Christmas tree and make sure the kitchen was stocked with food because Daniel didn’t plan on leaving this place until at least New Year, the snow would be too thick to get through anyway.
