Destroyed in love

Sarika I walk along the banks of river collecting beautiful flowers for my father. He is the king of our nation and today is his birthday. All are invited, my sisters and their families all have arrived already but I wanted to collect the beautiful flowers as a gift for my father. When engrossed in collecting flowers I come across a beautiful red gem stone. It was lying near the banks of the river. Such fortune is being bestowed upon me by the gods for sure. So thinking I pick it up and walk further. In my haste to pick up all the flowers I get lost. I don’t know the way back to my palace. Scared and lost I try to waddle my way around the forest that I am in. Suddenly I see someone pass by, scared I try to hide only to see who that person is. Relived that it was a monk passing by I reveal myself, “what are you doing here in the forest princess?” I bow to the monk, “greetings learned one. I was collecting these flowers for my father to present them as a gift for his birthday. In my haste to collect all I ventured out further into the forest and now am lost” I say worried. “Sometimes it is important to lose oneself to find their true self” he says gesturing me to follow him. “ come on. Follow me. I will take you out of the forest and lead you to the path home” I have no idea as to what the monk said but I nonetheless follow him. It was getting darker by the second. I had to get home soon. Mother will begin to worry soon if I don’t reach home soon.
