I GOT into school, hoping to find Emily somewhere. Instead, I found James.
"Alright, so I'm not one to gossip – I'll leave that to the girls – but there's a rumour going around school, that apparently there's a transfer joining." James told me as I closed my locker.
"Really? What's their name?" I asked, interested.
James looked as if he was in deep thought for a second, before he started speaking again.
"I don't know. However, I do know it's a 'she'."
I was surprised to hear it was a girl. The latest girl we had join our school was this girl called Naomi, and she joined three years ago in sophomore year.
"Well... when does she start?" I asked.
"Second period. So, during math." James told me, as we started walking towards my home room.
I nodded, then spotted a familiar face. Emily.
