"HEY, MASON. How are you?" Asked a voice.
I turned around to see it was Lauren.
I smiled in the awkward type of way, especially since Emily was taking a break from me because of Lauren.
"Hi," I decided to reply with.
There wasn't much I could reply with in that situation, so my reply had to be simple.
"So, are you alright?" She asked me, in a soft voice.
I shrugged, telling her truth.
That's when it came to me; I still have to talk to Lauren about the way she acts around me, and make sure she doesn't upset Emily again.
I mean, Lauren must really annoy her for Emily to be this mad at her.
"Lauren," she immediately shifted all her focus to me as I said her name, "why do you act so.. different around me?" I asked.
