It was a sunday morning so Dennise did not set any of her alarms on. And because of that, she woke up late than she usually does. She quickly stood up from bed and noticed that her spouse wasnt at her side of the bed.
She walked inside the bathroom and did her morning rituals with mind full of wonder where Alyssa could be this morning. She hurriedly finished her rituals to cook breakfast for her family.
When she was already walking down the stairs she heard her twins greet her near the living room of the Valdez's residence.
"Goodmorning Mommy!" Both said cheerfully.
"Goodmorning babies!" Den greeted back and kneeled down to kiss her babies. "Hmmm! Ang bango ng babies ko ah!" She nudge her nose to the two.
"Of course mommy! Si Mama Ly ang nagpaligo sakin eh!" Devyn shared proudly.
"Really? Kaya nman pala." And she sniff her daughter once again.
"Me, hindi po! I can handle myself now mom. I'm a big boy na po." Arvin said proudly too.
"Okay, okay. Whatever you say big boy!" Den mess her son's hair and the three chuckled.
"Hey fam!" Aly greeted as she came out the kitchen. "Who wants breakfast?" She said while lifting two big plates on her hands and a big smile on her face.
"Me!" Arvin and Devyn quickly ran to the dining room.
"Hey watch out!" Den said as she saw her twins almost bump to their mama. The two then apologetically smiled.
"Morning honey!" Aly said with her famous smile.
But instead of returning a smile, Den pouted her lips. "Why didnt you wake me up? Natulungan sana kitang magluto."
"Its okay hon. You do everything everyday and just for today, let me do these things to you. Please?" Aly showed her puppy eyes.
Dennise cant help but smile then kissed her spouse on her lips. "Dont give me those eyes, you know I cant resist them."
Den hugged her wife tight while Aly, still holding the plates, raised her hand to let Den hug her freely. She bowed a little and gave Den a kiss on her temple.
"I'm starviiiiiing!" Arvin complained which made the couple giggle.
"OMG A! You didnt have to break their cheesy moment!" Devyn said in irrate and crossed her arms.
"But D! Their moment just makes me more hungryyyy!" Arvin said to his twin.
"Oh tama na yan, bawal mag away sa harap ng pagkainan." Aly said while placing the plates to the table.
"Sorry Mama Ly." Both said.
"Its okay. Lets eat?" She then placed both kids table napkins on their neck.
Dennise was about to take the bowl of rice and place her baby's plate some when Aly did it first. Aly then place two bacons, an egg and a sausage on their plate. She then smiled widely to her wife. Next, she served Den her rice and viand. She has also prepared a cup of white coffee on her side.
"You know what mama Ly, I hope I can see someone like you po." Devyn said as she watch her mommies.
Aly creased. "What do you mean?"
"Uhm, like you po. I wish I would get to find a person who can love me as much as you love mommy Den." She honestly said while biting on her fork.
"Aaaaaw, that was so sweet, right ho-" Den was cut.
"No!" Aly firmly said.
Dennise, Arvin and specially Devyn jump in surprise as they saw how Aly reacted to what Devyn said. They were analyzing if there was some words that were offending but there were none.
"Devyn Michelle Valdez you are not to find someone fit for you at that age of yours!" She again said it firmly.
As the three was processing what they heard, it eventually sunk in their heads and understood why Alyssa was behaved and reacted violently towards what Devyn said. She was just getting overly protective.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" The three laugh out loud.
"Why are all of you laughing. I'm serious here!" She stop them.
"I love you hon! Hahaha!" Dennise said and kissed her on the cheek.
"Hahahaha! We love you Mama Ly!" The twins said in unison too.
"I... I love you guys too...." Aly still replied even though she didnt get what really just happened.
-------------------
"Haha! You wont pass by me mama!" Arvin said while speeding his car.
"Yes I will my son!" Aly replied and bump into his son's car.
"Hey! Thats cheating!" Arvin replied as his car crashed to the sides.
"No I'm not. Its all part of the game, son." Aly said and her car finished first. "In business, there are no rules applied. So do everything that you can to be successful. But remember, dont hurt nor step other people's feelings and dignity." Aly said.
"Yes maam!" And Arvin salute his mama.
"Hon, stop preaching your business to your five year old son. He's too young for that." Den said while wiping Devyn's face.
The whole family is at their living room just having some family time. Aly and Arvin are playing video games every sunday as their way to bond. They are seated at the carpeted floor and are faced to their tv.
While Den and Devyn silently sat on the sofa and watch the two play. Dennise would always listen to her daughters playful stories and ask her questions of what happened at school while eating their favorite fishball.
Aly and Den would always remind their kids to be humble and thankful for every blessing that they receive. And as much as possible, they want their kids to be growing up as simple kids normally do.
"You're right mommy. Minsan nga pati ako po eh. She always relates everything to business. And I cant understand why A is very excited and happy about it. Its so boring kaya." Devyn said as she chews.
"Hey! Its not boring. Actually its very interesting how stocks and shares change every now and then. I cant wait to work at our company already!" Arvin said with eyes sparkling.
Aly giggled. "My son, tama ang mommy mo. You're too young pa kaya nman lets play video games muna!" She said as she pressed the start button.
"Hey, not again!" He complained because he wasnt ready yet.
Dennise giggled on how her family was very open to say their thoughts. She can see that their daughter isnt showing any interest in their business while her son is the opposite. How Arvin adores business and how he is passionate about it.
Then a phone call popped her thought bubble. She reached for Aly's phone and saw who was calling. She immediately smiled.
"Hon, Gretchen is calling you."
"On a sunday? Put it on speaker please." She said while speeding up.
Den did put it on speaker and she said her greeting to the latter on the other side of the phone. "Hey Gretch."
"Oh, hi Den. How is your sunday morning?"
"Happy as usual---" and before Den could finish.
"Hi tita Gretchen!" Devyn butted in.
"Hey there little girl! I can hear from your voice that you're full of energy." Gretch greeted back while giggling.
"Absolutely tita!" She replied back.
"Good to know. Hahaha. Where's your mama Ly? Can I talk to her?"
"I'm right here Gretch. You're on speaker." She said then complained. "Hey why did you do that?!" She reacted since Arvin bumped on her car which pushed her car to the sides.
"It's all part of the game, mother." Arvin said while copying his mothers voice. Everyone giggled after.
"Hahaha! Seems like your son just beat you. Still playing video games? I'll call later nlang."
"Hell he did!" Then she felt someone threw her something. When she looked at her back, she saw Den's hand on Devyn's ear and she threw Aly a death glare. Aly then made a peace sign.
Aly stood up and took the phone off the speaker. "Kakatapos lang namin maglaro. Sige na, say what you need." As she walk outside the garden infront of the pool.
"Since its a sunday nman, pwede bang pumunta diyan si Gabbi? He asked permission to play with your kids eh."
"Oo nman. Are you coming? Or si Robi?"
"Ako lang. Robi is at the hospital dahil may emergency eh. I'll bring more video games din."
"Ok sige. Dito na kayo maglunch ha para sabay sabay na tayo. Dalhan mo na rin ng damit panligo yan incase they plan to use the pool."
"Yes maam. Oh sige na I'll hung up para makapunta na kami diyan. Bye!"
"Sige. Bye." Aly ended the call.
She came in the living room again and saw her daughter seated at her position earlier and was playing with her brother. She sat beside Den and pulled her close through her shoulder.
"Ano daw sabi ni Gretch?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around Aly's waist.
"Gabbi seemed to miss these two kaya pupunta sila dito later for lunch. And they will stay for a while para makapaglaro yung mga bata. Okay lang ba?" She ended while kissing Den on her temple.
"Of course." She nudge her head to the latters neck. "Matagal ko na din di nakausap si Gretch. I better cook for our lunch na." And she was about to stand when Aly stopped her.
"Mamaya nlang. Dito ka muna please." Aly looked down to see her wife then cutely pouted.
Den giggled. "Seems like my wife is getting clingy."
"Nah. I just miss you badly. Thats all." Aly smiled genuinely showing her dimples.
"Oo na lang. And dont smile at me like that!" Den said in giddy.
"Why? Does it turn you on?" Aly whispered sexily into the latters ear.
"Yes, so dont do that again or else I might just pull you up to our room and leave our kids in wonder." She sexily replied and kissed the latters neck.
"Mhhm... Okay lang maiwan yung mga bata hon. Tara, akyat na tayo." She said and was about to stand when Den stood up first. "Excited?" She wiggled her brows.
"Yup! Excited na ako magluto." She laughed hard which made Aly hang her mouth open.
"Hon! Dont leave me hanging!" Aly said in frustrate.
"I did not!" Den said and bit her lower lip teasing her spouse more.
"Aaaarrrghhh!!!" Aly tweaked herself and rolled on the sofa. Den giggled to the sight.
She then faces her babies. "Kids dadating si tita Gretch niyo with Gabbi so better clean this mess up and we'll be eating our lunch in a while."
"Yehey! Gabbi!" Arvin cheered while exiting the game.
"Oh no, that annoying creature again!" Devyn said while smiling.

Alyssa, Dennise and Gretchen are seated at the table by the pool side. While their kids Arvin, Devyn and Gabriel were having fun swimming at the kids pool with their own inflatables.
"Hay sawakas, a time to relax." Gretch said and stretched.
"Ang OA mo Gretta ha." Aly said while giggling.
"OA ka jan. You just dont know how hard it is to take care of your child. May Denden ka kasi!" She complained.
"Why? Isnt Robi helping you?" Den creased.
"How can he? I mean, parati nlang siyang nasa hospital. Parang ayaw na nga umuwi eh."
"Really? So if you're also working for me at the staple, then who takes care of Gabi?" Aly asked in disbelief.
"His nanny. And I didnt want that Ly, alam mo nman ang sitwasyon ko dati and I dont want my own son to suffer the same thing I did. I dont want him to feel lonely." She said sadly.
"Then why dont you just stop from working Gretch? For Gabi's sake?" Den giving her opinion.
"You know I cant Den. My father entrusted his shares to me at ValCorp before he died and as my respect and love for him, I wont let anyone touch those shares." She said her side.
"Why dont you tell Robi to loose his sched a little? Para nman makasama pa niya kayo, ang pamilya niya." Aly suggested this time.
"I tried but he immediately declined. Ever since he was promoted to Chief of Surgery, we didnt have any chance of talking again. Its very frustrating on my part Ly." Gretch shared her grief.
Aly and Den shook their heads in displease. Aly immediately wrapped her hands to the latters shoulders and hugged her tight.
"Mabuti nlang tong asawa ko, napaka undertsanding. She stepped down from being a full time pedia to a part time." She kissed her wife's temple.
"Oo na, ikaw na maswerte!" Gretch said and threw her friend a tissue.
"I'm not lucky Gretch, I'm blessed." Aly said while looking straight into her spouse.
Dennise smiled and saw how sincere those words of Aly are. She quickly landed her lips to the latter giving her a peck. "And I am also blessed having a very supportive and loving spouse."
"Sana all!" Gretch said and laughed. The two giggled as well.
