Uncontrollably Fond of You

_Chapter 1_ "Yes Jake you heard me right let's break up its over between us" Ijima said angrily,almost bursting into tears. She had had just witnessed the second worst case scenario of her life when she saw her boyfriend making out with another girl in the janitors closet. ✓✓✓✓✓✓ Flashback to a month ago "No dad l won't date your business partners son ! I disagree " ljima screamed at her dad . "I know you don't want to but you have to for my sake ok, do it for your dad please jima "Her dad pleaded persuasively. "No dad haven't you heard? no one dates the guys from the Weller's family.lt is rumored that they can't stick to one girl ."Jima said in defense. "Please jiji just this once please come on don't be so stuck up". Dad was being super persuasive, so l gave in. Arghhhh l hate when Dad tries to get me involve in his business and this isnt the first time he's doing this . "His name is Jacob Weller's and from what l heard he's a super nice guy" and he even attends the same high school you will be transferring to. Dad said . I lost my mom at age five and my dad is all l got which is why l can't so no to him at times. He never thought of remarrying because of the pain he went through .So it's just him and l . Because he was a single dad he didn't know how to take care of me.So he always hired nannies to cater for me and he sunk himself into work . It was so disheartening and devastating to see him like that. My family is not exactly poor.We actually are quite wealthy (humble brag). I mean we live in a mansion, have a whole garage filled with sport cars and my dad has companies as well. So you know,l always received princess treatment. But l wasn't the spoilt type of girl .l was very respectful and easy going. I was actually quite smart as well so l was known as the beauty with brains in Junior high SeniorHigh changed my entire life. Because my bestie and l had planned to attend the same high school but dad had other plans . She was Sharlene or as l liked to call her "lenie". She was in the same grade as me in kindergarten and the same age as well so we hit it off from there. We were literally inseparable. Her family background is also similar to mine they aree quite wealthy. But unlike me,lenie is a typical baddie. In Junior high she had dated almost every guy in school. But in front of her parents she was an angel ,so l always had to lie and cover up for her. She had two older siblings who were married and her parents were super strict so l always wondered how she turned out to be a rascal. Anyhow, l loved her so much and l couldn't stand being away from her in Senior high. She always teased me and called me a nerd because unlike her l was quite reserved. But just like that we were getting separated. °Later that day° "I'm very sorry I'm really upset too you know" l cried "Come on iji can't you ever disagree with your dad!"She screamed through the phone. "Lenie don't say that l tried to change his mind but he wouldn't listen" Please don't be mad anymore lenie,pleeeease." "Fine l won't but what's the name of the guy your dad wants to hook you up with?" "It's not a hook up we are just going on one date and that's it.His name's Jacob Weller btw." "Omg are you serious?????? Like you're going on a date with The Jacob Weller ...?" "Yeah... I guess so" "No way ",Lenie screamed one more time . "And btw what the name of the school you're attending?" "I think it's Crystal Lake High" "Oh no! that's the rival school of Phase High Academy" "Which is ........" "The school l will attend dummy" "Oh no this is really really bad "lenie said "No it isn't " l retorted "Our schools being rivals doesn't necessarily mean we are.right?" "You're right it doesn't" said lenie in agreement. "And we can always keep in touch." "Right , but l still think this is a f*****g bad idea" "Ok agreed school starts tomorrow anyway " "Bye " "Bye babes " *hang up* °°°°°°°°°°° I'm really looking forward to starting school tomorrow.l can't believe I'm already in high school. l mean I've grown up so much I'm already 16 yrs old . I can't control my excitement. ^^^^^^^^°°°^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^°°°^^^^^ I'm preparing for school and on the phone with lenie. We agreed to get ready together for school. It's 7:00pm and l just took my bath same goes for lenie We surely do not want to be late on the first day of school .That would be a bummer. We finally hang up after eating breakfast and l rushed into car for the chauffeur to take me to school . As l entered l saw many people staring l bet it was because of my looks .l was rather pretty. Walking through the hallway without lenie by my side made feel invisible. I walked with my head facing the ground l was depressed already .l didn't even get a proper view of the school. l doubted I'd make any friends everyone here was wealthy as well but they weren't the nicest.l went straight to my locker to gather my thoughts .l was also in search of the so called Jacob Weller . But l heard from his fangirls that he hadn't arrived yet . How rude l mean our parents set us up and you can't even do me the honour of coming early to wait for me . Worst first impression(red flag). I settled into a classroom and lessons begun but there was no sign of him . .He soon came in ,didn't even greet the teacher and sat down by me and started speaking to me which distracted me. He didn't even look apologetic! Like wtf (double red flag) He kept on yapping about how l was pretty and made some compliments on my looks. l really didn't even care at this point because l knew for sure he was a sweet talker. l mean how else would he have gotten in between the legs of all those girls .
