"Emily your hurting my back." Maddox growled out causing me to giggle.   "Giddy..up!" I squealed mid hiccup.  "Say that one more f*****g time and I'm dropping your ass on the floor." He growled, lifting one hand of my leg and pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.  "Let's go to a club." I whined, "I don't want to go to bed." I told him frowning and whining like a three year old child. "Emily it's 2am." He sighed, "You've had more than enough alcohol, trust me." He groaned back, walking into the elevator and pressing the button to take us up to the penthouse.  Once Grey disappeared behind that door with her. I left the penthouse and found myself at reception asking where Maddox, Benny and Johnny were. It took me 15 minutes to be connected to their intercom. Accusations of me being a fan girl were thrown in the air by Linda aka the hotel guard dog. Once she finally connected with them, she was more than proved wrong and with a face like thunder, allowed me to head on up to their rooms.  I hadn't changed, I was still barefoot in nothing but Grey's shirt. Nobody dared to question it, not even Maddox when he opened his room door and informed me that Benny and Johnny were out.  He was already drinking alcohol so a plus one was more than welcomed by him. We played games that included shots, poker and twister. Poker was good but twister went south, stretching your legs didn't work well when you had no underwear on. Maddox was a gentleman, immediately going to his room and fetching me a set of his shorts. I was to drunk to tie the strands tight enough so helped me which I was thankful for.  I tried smoking, that ended up in a coughing fit and by this point, Maddox was done. He wanted me out of his hair so he could get to bed.  I refused to walk, I knew what was waiting for me upstairs and I didn't want to go. It resulted in Maddox giving me a piggy bag all the way back to the penthouse, I was drunk and he was drunk. Overall it was a good night.  "Maddy we should start our own band." I declared with a grin as the elevator doors beeped open, he chuckled turning his head to the side to look at me.  "Sure." He smirked, "What are we calling ourselves?" He asked playfully while I pretended to think.  "Maybe...Pink Lightning?" He scrunched his nose distastefully, "Its my favourite colour in the whole wide world though!" I whined with a hiccup, "We can totally go to bed and watch Disney movies Maddy!" I suggested excitedly as he gently placed me down on top of the kitchen worktop, the same one I was sitting at earlier.  "You got friend in me!" I tuned out, "You've got a friend in..." "Drink up princess." He told me softly, holding a glass of water up to my lips. I swallowed it greedily, my mouth dry.  "Your really nice to me Maddy." I told him before hiccuping again, "Grey is mean." I told him causing him to chuckle with a wide grin.  "Grey is a d**k sometimes." He smiled, "That I can agree with you on." He laughed before turning to the door behind him, "Speak of the devil." He groaned rolling his eyes, not moving from the space between my legs with his arms crossed.  I looked over the top of my glass at Grey, he was still fully clothed. Maybe he just got quickly dressed again? He looked at me, anger displaying very clearly across his expressions as his knuckles turned white.  "What the f**k is going on?" He growled out to Maddox, looking at him like he was about to commit murder.  "Grey calm the f**k down." Maddox snapped back, "She's drunk." He told him while pointing a finger at me, I reached out and caught his finger in my hand with a frown.  "Hey it's rude to point." I whined, almost falling forward. His hands reached out and caught me at the waist, securing me back to my ass.  "You see what I mean?" Maddy told Grey with a groan causing me to frown.  "He's lying Grey-Bear, I'm not drunk." I pouted and watched as his whole back tensed. "We.." hiccup, " played poker, it was funny I didn't know how to play." I giggled, "We played twister too but that went wrong but Maddy gave me.." hiccup, "shorts." I finished giggling as Maddox winced, slowly turning back to Grey who now had his eyes narrowed.  "Did he really?" He ground out.  "That I can explain!" Maddox held his hands up defensively towards Grey, " So her left hand was yellow and then I took my shot and then her next shot was foot on blue but her other foot was on..." "I don't have underwear on." I simply stated for him getting to the point. He turned to me, his mouth catching flies.  "Just through me under the f*****g bus Ems!" He growled out.  "You were taking way to long." I dragged out with a giggle.  "Nothing happened." He quickly added looking directly at Grey who was looking more lethal by the minute. "She came to my room, I told her to just go to bed but.." "Hey don't blame me." I frowned, crossing my arms over my chest like a child taking a tantrum. "Your the one who suggested we have shots and play twister!" I whined causing him to let out a half strangled noise.  "Emily your not really helping me out here." He snapped, "What happened to the whole "don't worry about Grey, I'll take the blame" speech?" He complained a little loudly for my headache that was starting.  "Whoopsie." I replied with a giggle.  "You know what, I'm going to leave." He held his hands up, walking backwards towards the elevator. "There's maybe a little too much tension in this triangle and sometimes it's better if we just make it a straight line, so I'll leave and let you's both..eh.." I giggled as he frantically pushed the button for the elevator like a crazy wild man, the doors opened with a loud ping, "Oh it got here so quickly...bye guys have fun!" He let out a strangled cry as the doors shut closed.  I continued to giggle at his actions as I turned towards Grey, my mouth instantly snapped shut forming a straight line. He was far from laughing, he was angry.  "He's silly." I hiccuped, "You look tired." I finally evaluated.  "You look drunk." He fired back just as quick.  "Touché."  I was currently sitting on the basin countertop in the bathroom with a toothbrush hanging out my mouth. Grey had lifted me from the kitchen area, walking straight through his bedroom and into his bathroom. I was drunk but I definitely noticed no blonde bombshell in his bed, I was thankful for that. He was currently in-front of me running a bubble bath as I sat there yawning.  "I don't want to go in the bath, I want to go to bed!" I finally whined out as he rolled up his sleeve checking the temperature and swirling the bubbles.  "Stop acting like a brat Ems." He snapped, "You stink of vodka and cigarettes. Trust me when I say you won't appreciate it in the morning." He told me, wiping his arm with a towel near by.  "Oh..I forgot about the cigarette." I told him as I continued to brush my teeth even harder that I remembered.  "You don't smoke Emily." He pointed out.  "I know but I was being spontaneous." I giggled out before leaning over and spitting out my toothpaste, placing the brush to the side.  "You were being stupid." He corrected walking over to me and undoing a few buttons at the top of his shirt, "Lift your arms up." I giggled throwing them up in the air as he let out a frustrated sigh, the moment the shirt was off, goosebumps covered my bare skin.  "Your n*****s are hard." He smirked.  "Well done genius." I replied sarcastically, "It's bloody colder than an ice box in here." I told him causing a small chuckle to arise from his lips.  "I like going to bed when the room is cold, it helps me sleep." He confirmed, his lips still showcasing a beautiful smile.  "Well this girl doesn't like the cold, so we will have to change that." I told him without thinking, I watched as his smile slightly dropped.  "I like my room cold." He told me.  "I would like our room hot." I fired back.  "There is no ours Emily." He told me seriously, caging me in by placing an arm either side of me.  I opened my legs, wrapping them around his waist tightly. I clenched and yanked him forward so he was tightly against my bare chest.  "One day." I promised causing him to roll his eyes.  He placed his hands under my bare ass, lifting me from the countertop and over to the bath. I felt the heat as he slowly lowered me down and into the bubbles. He didn't leave. Instead he crouched beside me, resting his chin on the side of the bathtub. One hand resting there and one hand swirling the bubbles.  "Ohhh it's warm." I told him with a moan of gratification, he smiled softly.  "Your lucky I didn't put you in a freezing cold bath." He warned, "That would have sobered you up." I took my hand, splashing him with some water and sticking my tongue out.  He closed his eyes just in time for the water to hit his face, I giggled. He tilted his head towards me, water droplets running down his forehead as he watched my intently.  I watched him back just intently, before wading through the deep corner bath tub towards him. He didn't move, he looked tired. Even as I combed my wet fingers through his hair, he didn't move. He just watched me letting out a sigh. His messy hair was now sitting up in spikes due to my handy work, I smiled. Lowering myself back down into the tub so my face was level with his and only a few centimetres off.  "Your beautiful." I whispered placing a kiss on his cheek watching his muscles tense up. I could feel the familiar throb starting at my core, my whole body responding to being so close to his.  "Shut up Emily." He replied with a stoney voice.  I lifted my hands back of the water, reaching up and placing my arms around his neck. My breathing intensifying, if it wasn't for the water in the bath, I could guarantee that there was a wetness starting between my thighs.  "Grey?" I breathed out.  His eyes locked with mines, his body registering my language with a heated expression.  "I want you." I whispered.  He closed his eyes, his jaw clenching and muscles tensed. I could hear a change in his breathing and looking down at his jeans, I could see an erection forming but he shook his head.  "I can't." He ground out, "I'm angry at you." He sighed deeply before pulling away and putting space between us.  "Why?" I asked with a frown, now leaning my chin on the edge of the tub were his just was.  "Why?" He laughed like I had grown two heads. "I don't know Emily...maybe because you left this floor with barely a stitch of clothing on, maybe because you knocked on my best friends door and obliterated yourself with Alcohol, maybe because you never f*****g listen and maybe because you act like a f*****g child!" He yelled causing me to wince.  Great, angry again.  "I'm a grown woman, I can do what I like." I told him with a glare sinking back into the bath tub.  I watched as he crouched beside me again, a sinister smirk on his face as he tried to control the rage that was ready for exploding within.  "You know what I think?" He asked causing me to turn my head towards him.  "Please do share." I replied sarcastically with a roll of my eyes.  "I think that when you seen me come into this penthouse with a hot blonde chick...it bothered you, you were jealous. I think that when I took her to my room, you left this floor with an ulterior motive. I think that you ended up at Maddox's door because you wanted to f**k him while I was f*****g her." He seethed.  "Grey I'm not in the mood to be dealing with this just now." I told him pinching the bridge of my nose.  "Just f*****g admit it." He sneered, "You went to him because you wanted him to f**k you." I turned to look at him and his crazy allegations.  "Grey will you just bloody stop!" I growled out in frustration, "I went to his room for company, Benny and Johnny were both out and had they been there, I would have drank with them too." I told him truthfully as he shook his head.  "Lies." He snapped.  "I am not a f*****g liar!" I growled punching the water and creating a splash, soaking him once more. "I wanted to spend time with you, I made you dinner. I wanted to spend time with you but you screwed that up when you walked in with her!" I reached in front of me, grabbing a towel before quickly standing up in the tub. The water forming waves around me as I hastily stepped out and away from him.  I stormed through to the bedroom, he was hot on my tracks. I reached into his cupboard, quickly pulling out a shirt and slipping it over my head to cover my nakedness.  "I'm not finished." He snapped.  "Neither am I." I turned sharply, throwing the towel to the floor. "You hurt me today!" I yelled feeling tears stinging my eyes.  "Here we go." He growled out, his hands pulling on, "Why can't you open your eyes and see that it was just a f**k?! Do you want me to write it down for you, will that make it clearer?" He taunted.  "No it wasn't." I growled out.  "I'm telling you that it was." He growled back, "That's all it was to me!" He roared, "Did you cling to Charlie like this too?" He mocked and my resolve went.  My eyes welled with tears.  "If last night meant nothing to you, then why are you so bothered about Maddox?" I countered, "You were with her, if you didn't feel something then you wouldn't have cared a s**t on who I was with!" I roared back.  He didn't say anything, instead he turned towards the bed and perched himself on the end of it. His elbows went to his knees and his hands massaged the back of his neck in an aggressive manner. He looked spent while I stood there with my heart hammering in my chest, breathing laboured and buttoning up a shirt.  "What happened last night, it won't happen again." He finally spoke up calmly in the darkness of the room, "I never intended for you to think that this was or could be something more. I don't do relationships and I certainly don't want to deal with this shit." He admitted sounding like he was saying it through clenched teeth.  "Well I didn't want to be the girl who was a one night stand." I fired back hurt, "Clearly this was a mistake." I told him wiping the tears from my cheeks with his shirt sleeve.  "A mistake?" He tested it out in the air, maybe not intentionally for me to hear but I heard him.  "Yes." I replied simply.  "If that's how you feel then I guess it was a mistake." He angrily snapped back.  A mistake. A mistake was far from how I felt, I wanted Greg forever as crazy as that may sound, I wanted to be his. I wanted to be the girl that he came home to with excitement and love in his eyes, I wanted to be the girl that kissed his wounds better, I wanted to be the girl that he loved. Clearly that was never going to happen, he made that very clear.  "Can I have the blanket?" I asked, "It's almost 4am. I'll sleep on the sofa and then I'll be out of your hair come morning." I told him shuffling my feet on the floor feeling slightly awkward with the situation now in front of me.  "Take the bed, I'll sleep on the sofa." He replied standing up to his full height, the moon casting a shadow in front of him.  "No it's your hotel room and your bed, I'll take the sofa." Please don't fight me on this.  "Emily take the bed." He told me firmly.  "I can't." I replied in almost a whisper.  "Why?" He asked looking back to the bed to see if there was any flaws, there was none.  "I'm not sleeping in a bed that you had s*x in, god knows what STI's she's carrying." I told him distastefully.  The last thing I expected was a loud crackle of laughter to fill the room, I wanted to smile at the sound but I was too hurt and my emotions right now were running wild. The sound of him laughing was normally like a lullaby to my ears, now I seen it as nothing more than an insult. In my opinion, Grey was no longer laughing with me but laughing at me.  "I'm sleeping on the sofa." I told him with a frustrated sigh, grabbing the blanket and evacuating the room.  He didn't stop me.
