Bat       We circled each other, and with all the mayhem going on around me I didn’t take my eyes from the wolf who had tried to kill me. I wouldn’t be caught unaware again. He was smaller, weaker but if he got hold of me again, he wouldn’t let go. His survival instincts would kick in. he would go for my throat next I knew that. He had thought taking me down was enough, and that was his first mistake. His second was letting me get to my feet. Because I wouldn’t go down again. Not unless I was dying and even then, I would take him with me.  Placing one paw in front of the other, I felt myself relax.  It wasn’t that I didn’t think he was a threat because he was. it was just that I knew deep down that my life would not end here.  Fate had a different ending lined up for me I could feel
