Bat     We made our way, slowly and surely with Diablo leading and Jett bringing up the rear. Leaving me firmly in the centre with my little passenger hanging on for dear life. Step by torturous step we made our way outside. Or what used to be outside anyway. With the house smashed open the way it was everything was technically pretty much outside now. Everything was quiet, deathly so. There was no more screaming, no more shouts of battle. The explosion that had destroyed the house and killed so many of the resistance hadn’t dicriminated.it had killed the council soldiers a well. Bodies littered the ground. Twisted bloody remain discarded like yesterday rubbish. I tried not to look but it was impossible not to see them. They were everywhere. So many lives taken, so many more ruined
