Living in my dreams

- Chapter 1 - The girl Samantha was new at the riverside high. She walked into her third class and looked for an empty seat finding one next to him. As she sat down she studied him quickly noting the blonde- white hair, the grey eyes, and the he seemed to be nervous and comfortable at the same time. She concluded that he was an okay person, maybe even a possible friend. They had some time before lunch; others spent that time chatting or reading, she spent that time thinking about her previous classes. She liked to analyze her day as it progressed and she found that then would be the perfect time to analyze her day so far. Before she could zone everyone out she heard a smooth masculine voice calling something to somebody. "Hey you blonde girl," the boy next to her said looking in her direction. "Are you talking to me?" she asked. "Well that depends," he said smiling. "On what?" she asked not being able to help but return the smile. "On whether or not you're going to answer," he said still smiling. "I'm Samantha," she said as an answer, extending her hand. "Draco," he said taking her hand and shaking it. Right then the bell rang for lunch. She got up and walked down the hall towards the cafeteria wondering why her hand felt so warm. She was sitting at a table by herself, not that she minded she was a loner by nature and didn't to much prefer company, eating what was supposed to be a chicken sandwich which she heard a tray being set on the table she was sitting at. She looked up to see Draco sitting down across from her at the table. "Hey again," he said, "you looked lonely so I thought I'd come sit by you." "Ah okay," she said smiling. He returned her smile and they began talking about random things that nobody really cared about until it was time to go back to class. When everybody got back from lunch the teacher made them stand up and introduce themselves to the class. They were going in order around the room; so when it came to his turn she was so nervous she didn't hear anything he said. When he sat down she stood up and said a few things about herself, "I'm Samantha Sapphire Adams, I have no younger siblings; but my older sister just got married last summer and is living in Utah with her husband. I have one pet, a cat named Storm, and in all honesty I'm a loner." With that she sat back down. "You did good," Draco said as she sat down. "Thanks," she replied turning to look at him. It was then that she looked into his grey eyes for the first time. Her mind whirled with images of them dating, getting married, having kids, and them growing old and being happy together. As she stared into his eyes she saw an entire life with him. She looked away quickly dismissing the images. She didn't have the time or the patience for another heartbreak. The class, as well as the rest of the day, seemed to breeze by in a blink of the eye and it wasn't long until she found herself lying in her bed that night analyzing her day and trying to unsuccessfully come up with a conclusion to explain the images her mind had whirled with when she looked into Draco's eyes. She couldn't come up with one so she just settled with just going to sleep and trying to forget about it.
