An Easy Decision

Eva went home with a huge grin plastered to her face. Her wish had come true, 'Josh proposed to me and he even kissed me TWICE' she thought. She kept smiling, she just couldn't get it out of her face. She was shocked when he had really proposed to her and asked her to give an answer tomorrow, well, she thought 'that was an easy decision, of course I'm gonna say yes.'

When she reached home, she went into her kitchen, got a glass of water and headed upstairs to her room. She sat in her bed for a long time thinking about what she should wear and how she should tell her answer tomorrow. Then she went to her table and started writing down about her day in her diary, too excited and consumed in her thoughts that she didn't notice the stranger near her door, staring at her...

Eva woke up feeling all quizzy and nauseous. 'Did I fall asleep' she thought. 1min ago she was in her room and now she was seating alone in a different one. That's when she realized she was in the same room from her dream, her nose stinging with the stench of blood and her body tied to a chair.She thought she must be dreaming again. She had had the dreams for some days now. She just wanted to wake up, this was one of her worst dreams ever she thought.

She had been sitting there for some time now and she had started to wonder when anything might happen. She thought maybe she'll see the child or the dead body of the man or something but all she got was the dead silence and the cold darkness. Her anxiety had started to go away when a noise came, bringing a new kind of fear with it. She stared ahead trying to not freak out. I mean what could she possibly do, she was tied to a damn chair.

And then slowly from the darkness emerged the masked man. He had a small knife in his hand and he came closer to her. Once he had reached her, he got down to her level and spoke in a chilling voice "I missed you". And he brought the knife close to her face making a small cut on her cheek, all the while saying " I missed you a lot, you left me all alone and I looked for you everywhere " then he suddenly asked her " You didn't forget me, did you?"

Eva couldn't say or do anything...this was DEFINITELY her worst dream, she thought. She could actually feel the pain when he cut her cheek and his voice was so scary that she had gone still. And all his questions like as if he knew her. Eva wanted to wake up, she could no longer go on with this torture. She looked straight at the mask and spoke with a quiet, almost inaudible voice" Who are you, I don't know you and I want this dream to go away", for this the man give her an angry growl and said " you don't remember me?...well I'll make you remember soon and you'll never forget me again and you'll love this dream" and he cut her cheek again but a little deeper this time. She was crying now but that only made him laugh and then she was swallowed into darkness as she felt a stinging pain in her head.....
