Lucid Dream

It was a quiet place, all surrounded by trees. In the midst of it all she saw a house, a small beautiful house. She felt herself walk toward it. It was so familiar yet so distant. Like she knew the truth but always turned away form it. As she reached the house, she saw a small girl playing with a little kitten. And a couple watching and smiling at the girl with so much love. They were so familiar to Eva...

But then suddenly all the happiness she saw came collapsing, everything turned black. She heard the footsteps of someone walking,coming closer and closer to her. She wanted to run but her legs held still, she wanted to scream but found no word...all she could do was listen to her own breathing. And all of a sudden a hand caught her neck and was chocking her. She felt a pain and then heard a shrill scream of a child..She found the little girl staring at her, mouth open in a scream.

Then slowly the lights started filling the room and could see the child clearly, but this time the girl wasn't looking at Eva but at a man lying on the ground with no eyes in his eye sockets and a clear stab in the chest.It was the man she saw earlier smiling at the kid. She tried to look around for the lady, to see if she was alright but before she could see anything Eva was brought back to her situation when the hand became tighter around her neck and she found herself losing consciousness.

Eva woke up with a scream only to find herself in a strange room with a strange smell. " Was that....was that the smell of blood?" Eva thought to herself and then it suddenly hit her....she wasn't in her room or in her house at all." Was I kidnapped... no way that wasn't possible.. right??" that was the first thought that came to her after realizing she wasn't home.

She was pretty cool with the whole situation until she heard a scrapping noise and found herself pinned to the floor by a masked man.

That's when she saw the little girl out of the corner of her eye lying unconscious on the cold bloody floor. She wanted to fight back but found no energy, it was like her body had a will of it's own...She couldn't do anything except stare at the mask, into the depth where the eyes should've been.Just like that she found herself losing consciousness again........

Eva woke up expecting to find a room with an unconscious girl and a masked man but instead found a room with her favorite curtains, her comfy bed and her dairy on the table.She was relieved to know that all she saw was just a dream but also a bit scared that this could also be a dream. She hurriedly got out of bed and into the shower and stood still in the warm water letting it relax her strained muscles. Then she got dressed in a comfortable jeans and her favourite huddy with meow on it. She checked the time and found it to be 7 in the mornings, so she put on her mascara and lip balm and headed downstairs to have her breakfast and then headed to her high school all the while thinking of how strange her dream was...
