Raven Blackwell My head was heavy. I swear my eyes could barely recognize a thing. I searched around to look for where my bike was but I couldn't see it. All I could see was that I was surrounded by four men. I looked up and saw the moon before me. It looked different. I swear I had never seen it like that before. "What are we going to do with her?" One asked. I could see him from the corner of my eye. He had blonde hair and was also a little bit built. "How come she was there?" Another asked. I looked in what direction he spoke. He had dark hair and his eyes were golden. "Why isn't anybody saying anything? Jaxon say something" One of the men shouted on top of his lungs. Then somebody stepped forward. He was bigger than the rest and quite obviously respected amongst them. So something about himself is familiar, his aura, his scent. He bent down to look at me and that was when I knew it was him. The guy from the bar last night. A quick panic attack ran to my body. I couldn't believe it. How cruel could destiny be? How possible was this? What was I even doing here? Did he recognize me? Or worse, did he follow me? So many questions were running through my mind. "She has an injury on her hand" He said as I lifted my palms and his eyes narrowed on the the blood. "What does that have to do with what has happened?" One of the Men from behind him questioned as he looked at me. "Jaxon say something" One of them said impatiently. "Rhett, if you keep yelling at me I'm going to have to break your jaw" He spoke up to the guy behind him. Jaxon, that was his name. He couldn't recognize me. Or was he just playing? "What are we going to do with her?" " We're going to have to wait for the other council members to come." "Do you have a name?" Jaxon asked me. So he really couldn't remember me. I didn't know if I was supposed to be happy or sad. "Raven. Raven Blackwell" I said after clearing my throat. "Blackwell" He murmured as he turned to other men. "There's no way, no way on earth" One of the men behind him whispered. Turning back to look at me. He asked me a question. "Who is your father?" I didn't know what to say because I promised myself that I was meant to keep my father's identity a secret. At this point it seemed impossible. It seemed like Ironclaw was all about my father. "I don't know who you guys are? So I can't answer questions about who my father is" Before I could finish speaking. The picture frame was thrown at Jaxon. "It's definitely him" He picked it up and looked at me. With a deep sigh and a mysterious, nonchalant look on his face. He looked at me as he spoke. "It seems we know who you are. Destiny has a way of bringing about your past part, doesn't it?" I didn't understand what he meant by that. How did you know my father? Who were they? *** Jaxon Creed I should have known better, I should have known that the past always finds a way to crawl back to you. Tell me why it had to be us who only knew how to find her. And tell me why the f**k she had to be the one I had a one night stand with. I recognized her, why wouldn't I? Wish you allowed me to dominate her the way I did. My wolf growled in my mind and I shut him out This was not about last night. Why did she have to be the daughter of the man that I once served? "You don't know who we are. But we know your father.” I finally said to her. From the looks of it she seemed to have upset something and now there was no turning back for her. "What if we tell you we know how your father died." I accidentally dramatically stared into her eyes "What do you mean you know how my father died?" "It was a bloodless night. He had sent us a mission" "And?" I could hear the pain in her voice so I decided to stop. "It's not important, it seems like you have also violated your blood. You are in more trouble than you know. Right now we're the only ones that can protect you" To see the look of fear in her eyes when I said only how I could protect her, it made my howl ferally. " I don't need your protection. Just tell me what happened to my father, did you know about him?" She spoke this time more aggressively than the last time. I sighed. f*****g firecracker. I really couldn't help it. Lastly I wanted her to understand that she didn't have an option to talk more for choice. It was either, she came with us or her fate was left to the other packs. "Your questions are irrelevant" I said as I dismissed her weak pleas. Then her hand lifted her from the ground. She stood up. Where did she even get the strength to do that? I'm not gonna lie, she was definitely strong. I was still squatting when she passed me. "Where do you think you're going?" I asked as I felt her presence behind my back. Quite frankly, I was surprised that she was able to stand on her feet. What she had just gone through was supposed to leave her weak for days at least. "Do you honestly think I'm going to let you guys claim to be my protectors? You have the wrong girl" She spoke up. To be honest, she was quite stubborn. I guess it was something that we are going to have to work on. " you don't understand how much trouble you're in and that's fine. But because I owe your dad so much, I'm going to have to make sure I protect you by all means" Immediately I was done speaking and I signaled Rhett to hold her. "Let go of me. Get your hands off of me" She tried to fight as Rhett held her down but there was no going back. "You can't take me against my own will." As well as I whispered in her ears, walking passed where Rhett was holding her. "Just watch me do just that." I told the remaining two to climb their bikes as we drove to our hideout with her tied to Rhett’s bike. I could hear her yelling and screaming but this was just the beginning.
