Agnes had stayed at home until nearly evening, and she still had not heard from Jude.
She was bothered.
She called him several times, but he didn't pick up.
At one point, as a matter of fact, he outrightly declined the call.
Agnes was tired.
She had eaten a lot. She had played with Jake. She had even taken a mini tour of the villa with Vincent. That was the reason why she was able to even stay put until evening, but now, she was just outright bored.
At Jude's old house, he was done talking to his father, and when he left the room, he met his mother at the door, eavesdropping on their conversation.
"Mom..."Jude whined.
Mrs Lawson put her index finger over her lips, hushing Jude and ushering him away from the front door of his father's room.
"What did he say to you?" She ask
