Jude allowed Agnes some leverage after she had started to go to the company for a week straight.
He allocated a car for her and asked Vincent to drive her to work every day. Agnes started to feel better and got used to living in the villa.
Apparently, all Jude was doing initially was try to make her get acclimatized with being his partner, even though it was a secret, and it was just on paper.
