In the not-so crowded VIP area of the bar, Agnes tried to avoid not looking back at the numerous eyes that were fixed on her. A couple of people knew Agnes, and she looked different, so they could not help but set their eyes on her.
Agnes had never regretted anything as much as she was regretting her current predicament.
And she could not just get up and walk away because she had already booked a meeting date with someone else.
Or could she?
She was about to reach for her phone and call this friend of hers that she ought to meet with, when she heard a familiar voice from behind her.
''I knew there was something similar between us...'' the familiar voice said.
Agnes spun and looked behind her,only for her to see the handsome Jason Gale smiling at her handsomely.
