Agnes was watching Jude and listening to his phone call with Mabel, with a smile on her face.
She was waiting to hit him with the obvious statement.
''I told you that I cannot be the only woman in your life. It cannot be this quiet without you hiding the most,'' Agnes said to Jude as soon as he hung up the call from Mabel.
Jude rolled his eyes.
He was hurrying off the phone call from Mabel, only for him to face this from Agnes immediately.
He needed a break, by all means.
''You too?'' Jude said with a low baritone, but his face was disgruntled and upset.
