Jude glanced at Agnes.
''You are my wife!'' he said with a clear, yet, calm tone.
''Yes. In paper. There's no attachment between us, you know what I mean,'' Agnes said and slammed the door of the car shut, heading to the penthouse through the private elevator.
Jude watched her as she walked away abruptly. He was in some subtle shock, but he was quick to snap back to the moment and follow her into the penthouse.
''Agnes!'' he called to her just when they were about to enter their various offices.
Agnes turned and shot Jude a quick glance, and then she abruptly turned her head and entered the office.
The air in the office was not heavy at all, in fact, it was notably light and the first thing Agnes saw as soon as she entered the office, was Jason Gale's handsome and smiling face.
