Becca was still pondering what her father had done when her phone started to ring.
She jumped to her feet quite dramatically because she had just been jolted back from dream land. For what it was worth, her father should not have hurriedly seized the shares. Now a serious issue had started.
She hurried to her phone, expecting that it was Jude that was calling her.
To her surprise, the name on the phone call display read, ''Dad.''
Becca answered at once.
''Dad, you shouldn't have taken the shares. I told you not to. Now, see what is happening,'' she queried as soon as he picked up.
''Take it easy, Becca, my dear. I have your boyfriend here with me. Or your fiance? Whatever is the plan with you two,'' Becca's father said sarcastically.
