Prologue
In the beginning of the end, none existed but the darkness of oblivion not until an omnipotent deity's existence made the end meet its beginning. In the deity's eyes the void was his canvas and each stroke of a hand gave birth to the ethereal vast universe and life within. An illustration he deemed worthy calling a masterpiece, and thus the deity gave it a name known as Genesis.
Genesis might had began but the deity's work ain't finished as he still needs to look after his creation. Therefore, like a farmer the deity cultivated life until it matures and bloom to be able to stand on its own. But as civilization began to flourish and grew after a millennium....
"Darkness Shrouded The World"
Fortunately, his omniscience left a prophecy; a scripture that perceives the advent of chaos, an admonition stating that when the crimson moon arises, mortals shall seek sanctity upon the northern forest called Eden. However, despite the warnings, the majority doubted and did not follow the prophecy in which as a result; they met their demise as the darkness devours everything in sight.
Villages were destroyed, kingdoms had fallen and everything that had once stood in sight were grinded to dust.
Meanwhile, within the forest of Eden, mortals were worried for their safety therefore; anxiety, fear, and despair linger in their faces, depriving them of rest. The night continued its cycle and mortals contemplated on what can a mere forest do until the new dawn rose and sunlight brought momentary hope.
Hope that lasted for a moment as within the horizon, mortals saw their inevitable death as darkness sauntered. An endless wave of monsters gradually approaching, bringing mortals to their knees as they succumbed to despair. Thud!Thud!Thud!
The earth was trembling while everyone accepted the inevitable, however amidst the chaos, a man wearing a silver tattered robe walks at a certain pace towards the horde of darkness.
Everyone thought that the man had gone insane, but surprisingly in each step forward the stranger takes, fear and despair dissipates. An inexplicable phenomenon, a catalyst that shifted their attention as the man approaches what is seems to be an inescapable death.
Six....Five....Four.... Three... Two meters away, the man stood firmly and began a moment of silence as the mortals were at awe upon what they just had witnessed. The ground began to split and diverged then sprouted ginormous roots that acted as a wall; leaving the horde of monsters confused and dumbfounded.
The mortals then focused once more at the stranger but then light illuminated from the firmaments above and the man began to vanish. The darkness was analyzing the situation but then a trumpet resonated from the skies and as the mortals look beyond the clouds.
A legion of angels descended from above and took advantage of the confusion by a preemptive strike while the gigantic roots conveniently crumbled and trampled upon a plethora of monsters. The fall of the roots caused a massive confusion once more and so, the forces of light took this chance and crossed swords with the disoriented army of darkness.
Everyone spectated without fear from a distance as the flames of war began and their fate is decided upon the battle's conclusion.
"Who will win? Darkness or Light?"
Spears clashing, shields bashing, swords colliding, and bodies were piling up as the clash is near its conclusion. Mortals were silent throughout the battle, some where at their knees while others stood firm to witness fight's outcome, and after an arduous collision between the forces of light and darkness.
"Light completely devoured the Dark"
Mortals rejoiced while some were in tears but the day hasn't ended while the crimson skies prompted the sun setting and strange man was nowhere to be found. The cheers subsided, silence grew as they made an effort searching for their savior. However, amidst the silence, the remaining angels began to kneel and the firmaments beyond casts upon a light where the strange man suddenly appeared.
There he was, the omnipotent deity disguised as a mortal covered with a worn-out silver robe which surprised every mortal present.
A brief moment where the deity cleared the corpses by casting upon a flaming rift unto the ground and ascended with the angels which afterwards was written in the mortal history as; the descent of a deity in guise of a mortal while bringing salvation.
Then, as the deity and the angels returned to the heavens; the remnants of mortals rejoiced once more, wearing a smile in their visage while gazing upon the crimson skies as the sun sets and at last.....
"The shroud of darkness was no more."
Or so they thought for as the sun descends, gazing from afar was a silhouette ominously returning satisfied into the shadows.
Not a soul had notice nor anyone knew what it meant. Regardless, as the night cycles, a new dawn rises and in time; mortals rose once.
