CHAPTER 4: WORK

The next day after that call ....

I'm already awake at 5 in the morning because i can't sleep, i was crying over night. I was in the stage of indenial right now because until now it's not sink it on my mind.

Knock ... knock...

“Hey sweetie? Are you awake?” my dad said.

“Yes dad.” i simple said.

“Come down. let's eat breakfast. ” he said.

I'm not opening the door because my room is so messy.

“Yes i will. ” i said.

“Your mom is waiting for you. Okay?” he said.

“Yes dad.” i said and walk to the bathroom to take a bath.

After a minutes pass, im done take a bath and im here now in front of my mirror putting some make up and drying my hair because today i am going to my project to see what's happening there and i just want to get some update and also to say them that i will go to china for a week because of my dad.

“Good morning mom and dad. ” i greet them and i kiss on their cheeks.

“Good morning sweetie, how was your sleep?” my mom said in a very low voice.

“Not good. i was crying all night. ” i said in a sad tone.

“It's okay sweetie, you'll be fine soon. ” my dad said.

“Our flight is later in the afternoon. ” my mom said.

“Thank you mom and dad.” i said to them then they smile so i smiled too.

“Your welcome sweetie just always remember me and your dad is always here for you. ” my mom said and hug me.

We eat while talking some work stuff and they ask if im going to my work and i said yes at first they don't agree because they care for my health and emotion but i said to them that i need to work and i need to go in my project to check there and to get some information, also to said that i will not visit them for a week because im going to china.

At work ....

“Good morning mam. i though you where not going to your work. ” ny secretary said. by the way she's Adelle, my long time secretary.

“I need too.” i said and do my papers.

Time flies, it's already 12 in the afternoon so i called my secretary to prepare my car because im going to my project to visit there and i am going to eat my lumch there.

“Mam, The car is already prepare, let's go mam.” she said then i walk with her.

“Do you eat your lunch?” i ask her.

“Not yet mam.” she simple said.

I look at him and said “ Why? ”

“I have a lot to do mam, because yesterday you are not here and there's a lot a papers to do. ” she said.

“Let's eat together. tell the driver to go in the driver thru in the restaurant.” i said then she do what i said.

After a minutes ago, we are eating already our lunch here at inside the car while we are going to the place to my project.

“Mam, our engineer said he had a lot to talk to you for some staffs.” she said to me.

“Tell him that we are going there right now. ” i said to her.

Minutes past. We are already here and i saw my on going project.

“Good morning Miss M. i want to talk to you privately is that okay? ” our engineer said.

“Okay let's go in your office.” i said walk behind him.

I sat on the chair and look straight with him.

“So what's the matter?” i said to him then he start speaking.

“Your client wants to change some design here. ” he said then he gave me the blue print of the house.

Then i scan what he said.

“Im sorry, she didn't told me about that. ” i sincerly said to him.

“I understand Miss M, actually your client said to me that you have a problem so she didn't told you, so she told me in behalf of you.” he said.

“Im really sorry and thank you for understanding. i will check on that blue print and i will change it. ” i said.

“Thank you Miss. ” he said.

“By the way. I want to said that for the next week, i am not gonna visit here because i need to go in china to fix somethin. I will sent here my secretary.” i said then he nood.

“Copy Miss. ” he said.

I walk outside the office after that conversation and walking around at our project and every people i see they are greeting so i greeted too.

“Mam M, Your mom is calling she said you need to go back soon because your flight is only at 1 hour you have to fix your laguage.” she said.

So i immediately go to the car but before that i told to her that she was incharge here while im in china and cotact me every details of what's going on and some information. After that my driver start engine the car and we already left.

I texted my mom that im on my way home and i text Suzette too that she need to go in our house before our flight.

“Hey mom! Suzette is here? ” i ask her.

“Yes sweetie, she's on your room. She said to me that she will help you to fix your laguage and some staff.” my mom said.

“Thanks mom. Im going to my room to help Suzette. ” i said and i go upstair and see Suzette picking some clothes and put it on my laguage bag.

“Hey Z. thanks for helping. ” i said and hug her.

“You are always welcome M, Go fix your things we need to go in the airport. ” she said so i fix my things .

After that we leave our house and go to the airport.

We are here at the airplane, Suzette is sitting beside me and my dad and mom sitting beside her.

“Are you ready? ” she ask me..

“I don't know Z, i want to cry right now. ” i said to him and breath some air.

“You'll be fine soon, just be ready no matter what happens. ” she said and tap my legs to calm me.

Time flies and we are here at Wuhan China.

After to off to the airport we are here at hotel that my mom book us to get some rest before we go to my old house.

It's good to be back here but painful to remember.
