The Last Destination

CHAPTER 3: HEARTBREAK INFORMATIOM

I'm here at Suzette's place, she called me to go here because she was planning something on our travelling and by the way about my house project, my client agree to the video presentation that i sent to her when i'm in Singapore so we close the deal and start the project.

"So Z, what's your plan?" i ask her while she was in the kitchen preparing for our snack food.

"I was just wandering if what if we go to china? what do you think?" she said and put the food on the table.

"Maybe yes or no? you know i was born in china and move here in philippines just to sent me to an orphanage, i think im not yet ready?" i said and eat some food.

"Or Maybe it's time to move on? forget what happen to you in your past. look at you now, you are a strong woman, an independent woman. show them what they thrown away. " she seriously said.

I guess it's time to look forward.

"I agree. so when is the flight?" i ask her.

"Maybe next day? " she suggest.

"Why not now?" i said.

"You have a lots to do today, you have a new project and opps! congratulation to your new project M! " she said and hug me.

"Thank you Z! I just do my job today and tomorrow then we will going to china, is it okay? " i ask.

"Copy M! " she said then she salute to me. she's crazy woman.

After our conversation, i said goodbye to her because i was going to my office fixing something and doing my papers. My office is near on Suzette's house so i prefer to walk.

While walking in the street, i was thinking that it's been 19 years since my mom and dad sent me to the orphanage, all the memories and pain is back i really don't know if it is okay to me that i will go back in china? i'm so confused. After they sent me to the orphanage they never visit me once, it's hurt. I don't know if they still alive or what, i wish that they still alive, that they are strong even if they seperated because at the end they still my parents after all.

I plan that if we are going to china i will find them to know how are they, how's their health and i have a lot of questions to them.

"Good day Madam M. " my secretary greeted me. i don't know that i already here, i have a lot of something in my mind. i was busy murmuring in my mind that i didn't know that i was already here at my office.

"Good day. how was the new project? any update? " i ask and sit on my chair.

"They start digging to it and our engineer ask me that when will you visit the site." she said.

"Tomorrow i will go there to check it. " i said then i ask her to get me a coffee.

I start working and i don't know that i have a lot papers to do. I need to do this today and tomorrow because the other day we are leaving and i will tell to my secretary that she will be incharge to the site and to know what is going on in what they are doing and to gather some information.

While i was busy checking some papers, mom called me..

" Yes mom? " i ask while checking.

"Are you busy today? " she ask.

"Sort of. Why mom?" i ask her.

"Can you deliver me a capuccino and american coffee here at our house? your dad is busy on he's work and i don't have an application for delivering. can you do sweetie?" she ask.

"Sure mom." i said.

"Thank you sweetie, i'm sorry i disturb you. " she said in a sweet voice.

"It's okay mom. love you! i will oder you coffee. " i said then i'll hung up the phone.

I grab my other phone and order what's my mom wants and called someone that who will deliver my order.

After that, back to work again to finish this papers.

Knock .... Knock....

" Come in! " i shout.

"Im sorry for disturbing you mam. your friend is here, she want to talk to you. " my secretary said.

"Get in." i simple said.

"Hey M! ow. you have a lot to do." Suzette said.

"As you see. So what's your problem? you are not here when you are not have a problem." i said then she sat to the sofa.

"I was just passing by and check on you but i want to talk to you about your parents because someone is texted me about you." she said then i suddenly stop on what am i doing.

"What text you recieve?" i ask her.

"It's said that you father is dead a week ago and base on the text it was your mom." she said and i was shock.

"Really? how my mom knows your number? she didn't know you after all. is that a scam?" i said to her.

"That's what i think first but what if that's true?" she ask me.

"That's imposible Z. They not know you and if that is true why they not text me directly? " i confuse said.

"I really don't know M. here's the number and contact it to know if that is true or it's a scam." she said and gave me here phone so i dial the number on my phone.

Ring ... Ring... Ring...

It's ringing. i was nervous now, i don't know what to do.

" Nǐ hǎo (Hello) " the woman said over the phone, she talk in chinese language,right now i was nervous.

" Zhè shì shéi? (Who is this?) " i ask her.

" Wǒ shì Marie Yap, zhè shì Marie Love de péngyǒu ma? (I'm Marie Yap, is this Marie Love friend?) " she said and i was start crying.

" Wǒ shì Marie Love, nín yǒu shé me wèntí? (I am Marie Love, what is your problem?) " i ask her directly while i was crying, my friend is here at my back and tap my shoulder, she was confuse too.

" Wǒ de nǚ'ér, nín fùqīn yīzhōu qián qùshìle. ( My daughter, your father is dead a week ago) " she said and start crying and i was crying too.

" Ránhòu? (Then) " i simple said because of my anger on my heart.

"Qǐng zài wǒmen lǎo fángzi lǐ bàifǎng nín de fùqīn, tā zài děng nín. (Please visit your dad here in our old house, he was waiting to you) " she begged to me.

"Měihǎo de. Wǒ láile, wǒ huì dǎ diànhuà gěi nín, bìng tíngzhǐ fāsòng duǎnxìn gěi Suzette. (Fine. Im coming, i will call you and stop texting to Suzette) " i said.

"Wǒ dédào tā. Wǒ huì děng nǐ de diànhuà. ( I get it. i will wait to your call) " she said then i hung up the phone because i can't take it anymore.

I was crying. I don't know what to do, i don't know if im ready to see him/her but it was my father after all.

"Stop crying M. " Suzette said.

"I need to go in china, Z. " i said to her while crying.

"Yes, i will come. condolence M. i know you are in pain right now. let's go home, i will send you to your house. " she said and carry my things.

Im here at our house and i was quite, nobody can try to talk to me. Im here at my room, laying on my bed while crying then suddenly my mom and dad came to my bed and comb my hair then i cry loud.

"Suzette told us what happen sweetie, and im really sorry for what happen. Me and your dad are coming to visit you family in china. " my mom said while combing my hair, im not talking i was just crying.

"Sweetie, we know that you are in pain today i hope you'll get better soon. Suzette is going to your office to get you a leave and she was fixing you paper there." my dad said but im quite.

"We are leaving you here to get rest. " my mom said and stand up.

"We love you sweetie, i know you are a strong woman. " the last word that dad said then they leave at my room.

I can't move nor talk i was just crying all the time and i didn't know that i fell asleep while crying.
