CHAPTER 2: A WEEK IN SINGAPORE

I wake up early in the morning. i had so much fun last night, we just tour here in Singapore and eat a lot of food then we go in arcade here. So today is our second day here in Singapore, we are going to the Merlion Park. My dad said that it's beautiful there and it was a good atmosphere and also Merlion has a story.

A minutes past, im done taking a bath and now im going to fix my hair and put some make up on my face.

While putting a make up on my face, i was thinking that for the 24th day on my life no one ask me to go on a date, im a single since birth mygod, i don't know what is wrong with me, i have a pretty face like my mom and dad said to me, i am a kind of a person. I think it's not the right time to have a relationship to others.

Ding Dong ... Ding Dong .....

Ow, It's mom and dad.

“ Hey mom good morning,

Hey dad good morning ... ” i said to them then i close my room.

“Good morning too sweetie. ” my dad said.

“You look beautiful today. ” my mom said.

“Honey our sweetie is look beautiful everyday just like you. ” my dad said to mom. aww their cute.

“Hey stop that, it's embarrasing. ” my mom said. her cheeks is turning red.

“ Mom your blushing! hahahha your cute. ” i said to mom then she just laugh.

We just walk down to our hotek and go to the Merlion Park. we took a few minutes to get our destination.

“Look at that dad! it's beautiful here. ” i said to dad.

“ Just like i said to you sweetie. ” my dad said.

“Hey sweetie, Stand right there i will take you a picture. ” my mom said then i stand at the front of merlion fountain.

After that we just walk around and eat something we see. we just called Suzette again to tour her here in Merlion Park.

Mom and Dad are going to other place so here i am in the Merlion Park just wandering around. I just walk and walk then someone bump to me.

“ Ouch. ” i said.

“Im sorry miss. i didn't see you right there. ”the man who just bump in to me. i think he is a chinese too because when you look straight in him, his eyes is too small just like me and he's english accent is not so perfect.

“It's okay ” i just said then he walk away.

I didn't get he's name. but i remember he's perfect face.

I just continue walking then Suzette is calling me. we are talking while im walking around and eating some foods. after i walk i see a bunch of seat right there so i sit to rest my feet.

“ Did you see that? ” i ask to Suzette.

“ Omg! it's very pretty their i want to come right now! ” she said.

“Yes it was pretty here and they have a lot of food here in every street! ” i said to her because she loves food so much.

“ How the taste of it? ” she ask me.

“It was delicious! so much nice foods here. don't worry i will buy you foods here in Singapore.” i said to her.

“Promise? ” she said.

“Yes. I promise. hey i will hang up the phone, mom is calling me.” i said then hang up the phone.

I call back mom to know where they are.

“Mom where are you? ” i ask to here.

“Sweetie, come here in a sweetbeans. not so far in the statue of merlion. ” my mom said.

“ We order some food here. it was nice here full of fish. ” my dad said.

“ Okay. i will go now. bye! ” i said then i walk to the restaurant that mom and dad said.

While walking at the sweetbeans restaurant someone bump to me for the second time.

“ You again? ” i said to him in a angry voice.

“Im really sorry miss. i was just catching something. ” he said the he run of me.

From the second time i didn't get he's name again.

After that incident i just walk to the restaurant and eat food that dad order to me.

“I'm so full! their food is so much delicious, you know dad i said to Suzette that i will bring her some food here in Singapore. ” i said to dad while i'm here sitting at the back because we decide to go on our hotel to get rest.

“ That's good idea.” my dad said.

“Next time let's join Suzette to our travel. what do you think sweetie? ” my mom ask me.

“ I'm pretty sure that Suzette will come! ” i said and smile.

After a minute ago, i'm here at my hotel and also i'm done taking a bath. I'm here at my veranda to take some picture because i will post it on my social media.

While taking some picture someone calls me ...

“ Yes hello, Marie Love speaking. ” i speak over the phone.

“ I am very sorry for disturbing you Miss M. I just want you to inform that the presentation about the on going house is i wilk sent it to your email today. ” my secretary said.

“Oh it's you, copy that. Anyway is this your new number? ” i ask her.

“Yes Madam.” she simple said.

“Okay. Copy that. ” i said then hang up the phone.

After that call immediately grab my laptop and check my email then i see my secretary send me a video presentation.

This presentation is about our on going house project that we do in Tagaytay, it's a very huge house an elegant design because our clients want her house is to be elegant, the color of the house is white and gold.

After i watch the presentation, i email her back and i'll agree to the design of it then after that is i will send the video presentation to our client if she'll be agreeing with this.

Days past .....

We are leaving Singapore today and we are going back to the philippines, i will miss here in Singapore.

“Say goodbye in Singapore M, ” my dad said.

“ I will miss here in Singapore. ” i simple said.

After that we fly back in philippines then Suzette is waiting us in the NAIA Airport. Minutes past we landed at the philippines then i see Suzette over there sitting at the couch in the waiting area.

“I miss you M! ” she said and hug me.

“Miss you too! here's your food jusy like what i promise. ” i smiled to her.

“Omg! Thank you! your the best. ” she said.

“Hi Suzette, how are you? ” my mom ask.

“ Hi tita, i am very well. how's Singapore tita? ” she ask my mom.

“It's very beautiful their Suzette, next time you'll join us. ” my dad said.

“ I will tito. I hope that time i'm not busy” she said.

After that conversation we finally arrive at our house and rest.
