Filled with a sudden fury, he leaped at the man and hurled a punch, connecting with the man’s jaw. The man cried out and released Danae, who jumped back. “Perseus! Thank the gods,” Danae said, her hand going to her heart. Perseus turned towards her. “Are you all right?” Breathless, Danae nodded. Perseus whipped around and faced the man, who was rubbing his jaw.
