What the hell was Rochelle thinking when she attacked Laken out in the open? I forgot, she doesn’t have any rational thinking. She believes she has to be my mate and queen, but that will never happen. That girl will do anything to be at my side, not only on the throne but also in my bed.
When I found out about the attack, I wanted to go out, find Rochelle, and kill her for harming my mate and her queen. Laken begged me not to, saying that she wants Rochelle to live in fear, to wait for the day that the both of us will kill her and her father.
Laken suffered a cosmetic injury because of Rochelle. The silver in Laken’s wounds will hinder the healing and will leave horrific scarring down the side of her face. The scars will not stop me from loving her. She will still be beaut
