They rushed me into a private room as soon as we arrived at the hospital. The staff rushed to clean my wounds and stitch the scratches. The doctor had a look of concern as he was tending to my face. “What is it?” I asked him, and he couldn’t look me in the eye. “Doctor? I want an answer.” He sighed and stepped back. He took his glasses off and wiped them off. “I am sorry, Your Grace,” he finally answered. “Your scratches are deep and infected with silver.
