Haleys Pov

My wolf Soldier wont let me sleep, all he has done is whine, wanting his mate. I toss and turn trying to shut him out which I can usually do, but I guess he has grown stronger since we met our mate. I swing my legs off the bed and get dressed. I go downstairs to the bar to make coffee, may as well get some work done before I call Nia to talk about the plans for this weekend. I figure this is a good way to get to know this little human mate of mine. I feel Soldier smiling when I even think it. I make the coffee and reach under the counter to grab the creamer and find a envelope of tips with Hailey's name and scent all over it. I bring it to my nose and inhale the sweet scent of coconut and roses. I wonder in silence as I drink my coffee why she would leave the money that she earned, then I remembered how I fussed at her for over pouring and costing the bar money. I instantly felt my heart do something weird. I think it almost hurt. I quickly decide to call Nia as soon as the sun comes up to make sure Nia told Haley about the invite to them both to the island for the weekend and also to let her know I am coming over to deliver the cash Hailey left at the bar.

Two hours later the sun finally decides to make an appearance and I dial Nia, All I manage to get out before wolf takes over is good morning. Then wolf completely takes over and says. "Ill be over in an hour to discuss this weekend." Then he hangs up the phone.

"Well thank god that wasn't Hailey who answered the phone, You would have scared her to death."

"Shut up, You are taking forever and I want to see her."

I roll my eyes, "The big bad wolf is already whipped."

"You want to see her too." He said with a snort.

"We haven't even decided what to do about her and here you are planning our wedding."

"I'm planning a lot more than a wedding."

With that I pushed him to the back of my mind and finished my coffee while letting thoughts sneak into my head about the little human with long blond hair and the most beautiful brown eyes Ive ever seen.

I washed my cup sand headed for the shower, a cold shower and hoped when I got to Nia's Soldier would be able to control himself.

One hour later, I pull into the parking lot to Nia's apartment building and already just being this close I felt an ease wash over me, a feeling im not sure I have ever had.

I head inside and Nia had a cup of coffee ready and waiting. Just as I was about to take a sip of the hot brew hurricane Hailey came busting out of her room and straight into me. I quickly sat the cup down and caught her before she had a chance to fall, then I realized she was in just her t shirt and panties. Soldier and I both got a kick out of seeing her face light up bright red when she realized her mistake in thinking it was just her and Nia in the apartment. I wont lie, I couldn't tear my eyes away from her thighs as she hurried back to her room to dress properly.

I sat with Nia and lay the envelope on the table with Hailey's tips, we talked about the weekend and the things I wanted to get done while we were there and we talked briefly about the party. Hailey now dressed reenters the kitchen and gets a cup of coffee and immediately sees the envelope.

"I left that on purpose, I didn't mean to cost the bar or your family any money and I promise I will try harder to get it right."

"Have it your way." I say as I pick the envelope up and put it back into my pocket. Her falling face immediately showed she knew she had made a mistake in not taking the money but I had no intentions of leaving with it. She goes to the couch giving my sister and I time to talk until we start talking about the dress she will need for the party. of coarse she had to argue that she had dresses and this and that.

"I guess you will be needing this now." I tossed the envelope toward her. She caught it and threw it on the coffee table. Then she did the one thing that got soldier going. She rolled her eyes at him.

"I can just stay here this weekend, there is no need to waste money on a new dress for a party, I have not been invited too."

"I invited you, Your Nia's friend." Soldier had taken over and she knew something was different but she said nothing she just looked at us.

His next words were "buy a red one" at that, I forced my way back and out the door before he ripped her cloths off right in front of my baby sister.
