Alec and I had arrived back at the house, he went back into Alpha mode as soon as we made it into the house, as a few members weren't listening to his Beat Sonia, as she was smaller than the others, but the look on her face, she wasn't someone to be messed with. "Alec, we heard that more hunters have been seen, they kidnapped one of our members," Riley, the head scout spoke. Alec turned his head towards him, "What? When did this happen? Why hasn't anyone gone after them?" A growl came at the end. "We waited for you, to return. You are stronger than most of us," Zachariah spoke up. "You could have taken Sonia with you, you all know how good she is at fighting. I need to get my mate comfortable with this place which is why I wasn't here. If anyone has a problem with it, keep it to yourself, unless you want to end up like Ryan," Alec grumbled. This was the side everyone was talking about, I understand though at the moment, how they let this slide and wait until Alec arrived back. What if we didn't come back until tomorrow, I was instantly by Alec's side as he called everyone. "We will head out, Sonia you take the West side and I'll take the north. Howl as loud as you can if you find him, we will do the same, Alison you are with me," Alec spoke. I didn't protest as I moved closer towards him, he leaned closer to me, kissing my ear. "This will also prove to everyone how good you are, do me proud." I looked at Alec, nodding my head. As soon as we made it outside, we all morphed into our wolf. Lycurgus took charge instantly, Xanthe followed behind him as we all took off in the direction, the pack split up in two, to cover more ground. Xanthe was able to keep up with Lycurgus, not losing pace. This time we both knew there wasn't time to waste in this situation. Lycurgus howled telling everyone to keep up. "When we get there Xanthe, I need you to go in human form. Use your witch powers or any spell, she might know," Lycurgus communicated to me. "Wait! What? I could hurt someone," Xanthe replied. I haven't used my witch powers or spells as often as someone might have thought. "Please Xanthe, I'm begging you to allow Alison to do so. We need this to happen," Lycurgus begged. "Okay," she sighed. We heard a howl from the west causing us to divert to that direction, Sonia must have found them or something. The smell of blood filled the air, causing Xanthe to stiffen up as we've never smelt so much blood before. I morphed back into a human as we arrived to see the blood trail. I wanted to gag, but I kept myself from doing so. Even though I had abilites, I was still able to see what happened through a spell my mother taught me before she was killed. I kneeled down touching the blood with my finger, I could feel Lycurgus next to me. I knew everyone was curious as to what I could do. Moving my hands in a motion, a small light appeared from them, "Ostende mihi quid factum est." (Show me what happened) Instantly images ran through my head causing me to take a deep breath, letting out a slight groan. I knew Lycurgus and Alec grew concerned as he moved closer towards me and even laid his head on my shoulder. "There was a struggle between two hunters and the pack member, there was a fight. A big fight," I began speaking of what I could see. "There was someone else watching, something else. Something darker, more stronger than they thought, three hunters ran away, leaving a few others to fend for themselves." I couldn't make out anymore images in my head, before I got out of the trance, I heard a laugh. A sinister laugh. "We will meet soon Alison. I can't wait to rip you beloved to shreds," The voice echoed in my head. I let out a pained cry as I left the trance and gripped my head. It happened. My heart raced as my chest tightened; it felt as if the center of my head — right behind my nasal cavity — was being pulled. A sound roared through me as my knees buckled, and what looked like black clouds pressed their way into my vision. "Alison, Alison." I heard Alec call my name but my whole world went black. ♣️♣️♣️♣️ My eyes shot open, looking around I noticed I was back in Alec's room. My head was pounding. "Oh Alison you're awake. I'm glad your okay," I heard Alec's soft voice. I heard his footsteps before feeling the bed dip beside me. "Everyone must think I'm weak, fainting after one spell," I whispered. Alec shook his head, gently grabbing my free hand and rubbed it, "You were under that spell for quite sometime. I couldn't wake you up. I thought something was happening to you, what did you see before you blacked out. You went quiet for two minutes, it's why I morphed back." Looking over at him, I could see the concern on his face, "I'm not sure who it was, but whoever it was knew me and knew what I was. It said it can't wait for me to watch you be torn to shreds. He seemed dark, like a necromancer." "Did you see what happened to Arthur in your spell?" Alec asked. I shook my head, "No, what I said is what I saw. I'm sorry I wasn't much help." Alec didn't say anything as he stared at me, leaning forward he pressed a kiss to my forehead, "You did more than what any of us could. I'm proud of you Alison, we will find him. I'll have the scouts to keep searching. You said there was a struggle maybe they can find him or another clue. For now you rest, thank you for doing what you did." "Anything for Moon Valley," I replied which caused Alec to smile. After all I was the Luna of this pack and I had to do everything I could to protect it just as much as Alec. Maybe being half witch, half wolf wasn't so bad after all, especially if Alec truly accepts me for who I am.
