I didn’t know where she was headed but I was following. For the first time in my life – FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE – I was following a girl like I was under a spell.

“Please follow that cab.” I ordered he driver and he gives me a light nod.

I rested my back and closed my eyes for a nap.
