Chapter Fifty-Six
It was approximately 6:30 when Armin messaged me to wait for him in front of the school. But due to my impatient-ness, I marched my way towards the cudgel house to check him out. He said to meet him at 7 but he wasn’t there. I’ve been waiting but he never came. Apart from that, I still couldn’t believe I saw Jared in Jusarang. I frowned. Why was he there? Or maybe I was hallucinating. Gosh. I shook my head in disbelief. As I approached the house, I could see smoke coming out from the trees. I frowned and walked towards the cabin. It was really dark in there already and the place was silent. I looked up and saw the smoke from above the cabin. I realized I haven’t really seen what’s inside of this cabin yet. I slowly took a step up the stairs and reached the door. The knob wasn’t steel. I
