It felt a little awkward when I finished eating. Jared wasn’t saying anything. I cleared my throat. We were sitting over his bed. “Julia…” he said. “Uhm…” I blinked and stared at him. “Here…” he handed me this silver ring that had one diamond probably the center. He stood and grabbed my wrist. I followed him removing the towel wrapped around my back. We went down to the basement and onto the practice room. He opened a door that was really dark. I can hardly see a thing but the only spotlight was hitting a piano.
