That whole day, we were sitting there, talking. I wanted to make it up to her. I know this was supposed to be a waste of my time, but it would be more upsetting if I decided to make her happy when it’s already too late. When the sun already set, we stood and we were on our way out of the park. People had started leaving and as I turned to face her and wanted to hold her hands while we were walking, I was alone. “Julia?” I was surprised when I saw her facing an old man leaning over the park’s fence.
