Last night, before I left the studio, I thought I could give him a surprise. So, I placed my ribbons in his hair which obviously looked really cute on him. Its red colour stood out from his hair since he was blonde.
I marked a big circle in his cheek with my baby pink lipstick. He looks fair and I personally think he'll look better with a cute blush. I smirked.
I went to check on him this morning before I left their building and I was right when I thought he'd be back to being grumpy. It's a waste though because he looked really cute. See? I even mentioned it a lot of times already. Because he truly was.
He really is.
Really.
During Fridays, we were supposed to work on our clubs the whole day and believe it or not, it wasn't something I wished. It was boring.
Ysabelle and I were about to enter the cafeteria but then someone blocked me. It was the familiar scent I always smell ever since. Min. I looked up and true enough, it was Armin. I frowned. "What?"
"You—" he pointed at me with a grin. "—you’re getting your pay today, right?"
I shook my head. “No.” I lied. Please believe me. Just this time. Please.
“Liar.”
“No I’m not.” I frowned at him.
“It’s exactly fifteen days since you last got your pay.”
“Is it? Oh! I didn’t know.” Disappear. Disappear.
He wiggled his brows.
I sighed. "Geez. I even distanced myself from you today already yet you still remembered."
He laughed. "Old McDonald. What do you say?" He smirked teasingly and I looked away in annoyance.
"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever."
"Cool." He snapped when someone suddenly nudged me.
"Oh!" Armin stopped walking away and turned back to me. "Not greeting my friend is rude." I said arching my brow and he looked at Ysabelle.
She blushed and smiled widely. I could see her hand moving uneasily. I turned to Armin. They were just looking at each other. I tapped my fingers with my arms.
"Hey, Belle." He waved at her.
She was about to say something but he spoke. "You better not hide, Julia. I'll still find you either way." I turned to him with a frown. He smirked and finally walked away.
Silence.
"I didn't even get to say something." I turned to Belle who was pouting. I patted her back. "But he knows my name." She smiled and just a little more, I could see her eyes turn into stars.
"Of course he does." I said and pushed her to walk. “Who wouldn’t?”
After eating my lunch, I arrived in the club 2:30 in the afternoon. We weren't really doing anything but since nothing was happening, I decided to roam around.
I went through the path of practice rooms like what Joshua told me. I didn't mean to but I over-saw someone inside playing the guitar. I opened the door and the guy didn't seem to notice this.
He was playing it with feelings and if I wasn't the type that understands scenarios like this, I would be laughing right now.
I stepped back a little when the guy's head turned to me in a speed of light. It was Joshua.
"Y-You're really good." I said.
He smiled and landed his arms over the edge of his guitar. "Thanks."
I walked closer to him. "What were you playing?"
"Something I rearranged."
"You rearrange?" I asked and he nodded. "Wow. You guys are talented boys. How am I not good in such things?" I blurted and shut my mouth. I don’t why I was born with bad mouth. I made a face at the thought.
He chuckled softly. He was so decent, neat, shy but in a good way. "You are talented. Everyone's born with something."
"Not me." I heaved a sigh.
"Your spirit's really low."
I turned to him pouting. "I know. Something bad about me, to be honest." I looked at myself in front of the big mirror.
"Why would you think like that?" He asked leaning closer to me. "Maybe you rap. Like Armin." He said and I creased my brows. Why do people always mention him every time I'm around? It’s disappointing that they only remember me because of him.
"Because you two are close."
I covered my mouth in shock. I stared at him. How. . ? "Did I say that out loud?" I murmured and he nodded chuckling. "Sorry." I looked down.
"It's cool."
"Can you sing for me? I'm really amazed by guys who play instruments. Maybe because I couldn't do it." I chuckled.
He smiled. "Okay. But I'm not much of a singer."
I looked at him. "I already heard you. You were really good." I smiled and he started to fix himself and his guitar.
I sat down the cold flooring and cuddled my knees as he started strumming some chords. Daddy played the piano. So I am really immersed by people, especially boys, playing any instrument.
I clapped my hands together as he stopped playing. He buried his face to his palms and I chuckled. "Why are you covering up?" I asked and he peeked a little.
"I'm embarrassed."
I smiled. He was adorable. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about. You were good. In fact, you're awesome and cool." I raised a thumb and he finally revealed his face back.
"It was the first time I sang for a girl." He said and I did not respond. "I never did it in front of anyone except for the club."
"Oh."
"Sorry. I made you uncomfortable, haven’t I?"
I shook my head. "No. Not at all.” I asked and he smiled.
He smiled.
“That was wonderful. What you played. How you played.”
"Thanks but I guess you're the only one who can appreciate that."
"What? You're really talented and I'm so envious of you. I wish I could be as good as you." I shrugged.
"If I'm really talented, then how much more if you learn how amazing Jared is. And he's only seventeen."
"Is that how good he is? You talk as if he's the best person in world." I chuckled and he smiled.
"Everyone does think of him that way. He's the most talented among us. That’s why he became the president in the first place." He said and I was dazed. But his attitude. I hate it.
"Ha!" We both turned when the door opened and a loud voice echoed inside the room. "Found ya!" He tilted his head a little and I stood.
He walked towards me and gripped my arms. Armin Zeiger, I’m gonna kill you for this!
I looked at Joshua and he was laughing.
"You think I won't find you huh?" He blurted and I rolled my eyes.
"I wasn't hiding, Min." I corrected.
"Whatever. You need to get your pay and treat me!" He laughed and I sighed grabbing my bag. I waved at Joshua and finally stepped out.
“Why do you even make me treat you? You can buy anything you want.”
“Because it’s different when it’s from someone else.” He raised a brow. “Besides, friends treat each other.”
“You’re rich. You don’t need to. And,” I paused, “you’re the one who should treat me.”
He smiled. “Let’s go?”
I rolled my eyes a little.
“Let’s go. Let’s go!”
After my work at Toy Empire, my boss gave me my pay and Armin ran to me anxiously. "Yes!" He exclaimed and peeked through my wallet as I was inserting my money in it.
"Again, you're even richer than me." I mumbled and I hear him chuckle.
"Yeah because I treat you every day before you got jobs. It's time for you to repay me.” There goes his loud laugh again. “To McRonalds!"
