Being alpha of a big pack is really a pain in the ass sometimes, my dad have been bugging me a lot lately about finding a mate so I can have an heir and take over the pack soon, what my dad does not understand is that I am gay it’s like he knows but he is ignorant about it. It is very hard to find a male who can conceive. I have been thinking about giving the pack to my sister because at least she is straight and won’t have a problem providing an heir.

I am on my way to my fathers office again for another conversation that I don’t think I will enjoy but I can’t run away from my duties forever. I knocked twice on my dad’s office door before I head a lazy come in from the inside. I fixed my hoodie before going in, “how are you father? I said innocently, “ quit the act Nathaniel, we have been through this already I am not getting any younger and you have to take over from me but you can’t do that without your mate, if you can’t find your fated mate then we will look for a chosen one.

I sighed and looked at him, “ father am still 20 years old, there is more time to find my mate before I become alpha, plus I don’t want a chosen mate , I want to have what you and mum have, what my beta have I want something special “

“ chosen mates are special too and they are trained to be submissive, you will still be happy”

Said my dad, “ even if I do that it won’t erase the fact that I am gay and I won’t be able to provide an heir unless I get lucky and get an omega male who can get pregnant but those are very rare, I mean what if he is human? Can’t Diana just become the alpha?” I asked desperately, “ son even if Diana can take over her children won’t be Darkwoods they will carry their father’s last name, I will only give you six months to find your mate and mate before that.” He said with a serious face, I nodded and stood up.

“ I really need our mate” said my wolf Silas “I know dude I know” I said and prepared for my run in the woods, I had to burn some of the energy in my body. I ran for miles until I reached a small town at the edge of our territory. I rarely come here but today it’s feels like this place is calling to me, I walked until I spotted a small restaurant/ cafe ahead of me, I decided to go in for coffee. A strong scent hit me hard as I was about to open the door, the smell of rain but sweet. Silas wanted to take over immediately and claim our mate but I had to keep him in check I mean there were a lot of humans around. I stepped back to make sure I am calm before meeting my mate. I entered the restaurant with a straight face but all that went down the drain the moment my mate turned around and our eyes connected, he is very beautiful with his babe face and purple eyes, I have never seen a human with purple eyes but damm they look good on him. My mate is shorter than mine with an inch maybe with brown hair and purple eyes, his face looks like that of a baby and all I wanted was to touch his cheeks to feel how soft it is. His crooked nose looked perfect on him and Silas couldn’t stop swooning in my head. My perfect mate.

My mate turned around immediately and rushed away, and my heart sank at that, I found a table and sat there hoping he will come back. It took him a few minutes but he finally came back acting nervous, “ what can I get for you sir?” He asked, and all I did was look at him, his voice was like music to my ears. I shook my head and answered “ black coffee no sugar” I said and he rushed away mumbling “ be right back” All Silas was thinking is how he wanted to pin him against the wall and f**k the hell out of him , I had to block him out. My mate returned with my coffee, I wanted to know everything about him, know his name where he lives what he does for fun and more. I asked him to sit for a while which resulted in him looking at me suspiciously but he finally sat down. “What is your name” I blurted out and I wanted to hit myself for my bluntness but he answered “ Gabriel” he said softly,how I wanted to hear his voice over and over again. I kept repeating his name in my head like I didn’t want to forget it. “ I am Nathaniel” I told him with a smile,He raised his hand to touch mine but something in him snapped, he stood up and rushed out. I cussed my luck, although he is perfect he is still human, and won’t be able get Pregnant what will my dad do? I am so screwed.
