Gabriel’s POV

It was a Monday morning and I was late as usual, I am surprised I didn’t hear my mother shouting at me to wake up, I rushed around my room and bathroom as I showered and quickly put on my work uniform before heading to the kicthen for some breakfast, mom was there finishing with pancakes and eggs that I didn’t have time to eat so I just grabbed one on the go and kissed her goodbye on the cheek before bro hugging my dad who was standing next to my mom before rushing out.

I had to rush to work before my boss lost it and fire me, up on entering I was met with a scowl on my boss’s face but I smiled innocently at her and she began to shake her head before heading to the back of the restaurant, I rushed to my locker to get my work cap before coming to start washing the dishes just as the first customer entered the restaurant.

“ you are late again “ said Maria one of my college, I sighed and nodded. Since I received my mind reading abilities I have learned to not talk much because the more you talk the more people think and reading minds can be exhausting.

As customers began to fill the restaurant we began to help them and just like that it was already midday. I was picking up dirty dishes when my heart began to beat erratically, I turned my head to the door just to meet with the blue eyes from my dreams, he was walking up to me dressed up in all black, black ripped jeans and a hoodie that made him look mysterious, damm he was hot and all I could think about is kissing him but I shook my head before he reached me and I dashed to the kitchen, I was breathing heavily and panicking, why would he appear here of all places? I had to force myself to calm down and act professionally.

When I have calmed down a little bit down I went back to help the customers , he was still there waiting for me, “ what can I help you with sir?” I asked, he looked at me and answered nonchalantly “ black coffee no sugar” he was acting calm but I could hear his thoughts, which screamed mate, mate and how he wanted to pin me against a wall and f**k the s**t out of me, f**k that got me hot, I hurried away to get away and it’s time like this that I cursed my mind reading abilities.

When I returned with his coffee he ordered me to sit down, “ I am working “ I said, he eyed me and said “ it won’t belong “ he said in his deep voice that made goosebumps appear on my skin, I felt the need to please him so I sat down, “ you have pretty eyes” he said referring to my purple eyes that I don’t understand where I got them from since both my parents have brown eyes. He was staring and me with so much desire that I didn’t understand. “ what is your name?” He asked? “ Gabriel “ l replied he smiled and all I did is look at him, he really is beautiful “ my name is Nathaniel, it’s nice to meet you Gabriel “ I could hear him chanting my name over and over again in his mind I wanted to hold his hand and feel how soft his skin was but I suddenly thought of my parents horrified faces and I suddenly jerked my hand away from his stood up and ran from the restaurant.
