"It feels so good to be back home," Damon said that morning as we waltzed into the foyer of the pack house.
We had been out of the house for a few days yet it felt like we had abandoned it for a long time. I missed everything, including leading my pack members. Above all, I missed the person that made us leave the house in the first place.
We headed straight to Harper's mothers room and I checked my phone to see several missed calls from her. I sighed, knowing that we made her worried.
"Check your phone, guys, I'm sure you'll have a lot of missed calls on it," I told them and they dug into their pockets then scrolled through their phones.
