Harper's POV
My mind was in a conflict. Adonis' touch, his revelation, then threat all made me extremely nervous.
I was angry that his presence had a great effect on me and then he revealed Atlas's selfishness. At that point I wanted nothing more than to hit Atlas over and over again for scaring me.
He had threatened to exile Damon if I didn't come to him. I couldn't deny that my body wanted him but I wasn't sure my heart agreed.
I tightened the towel that had loosened and remembered how Adonis stared at me with so much l**t. My core tingled with pleasure at the mere imagination of what he could do to me if I let him.
"Argh!" I heard a scream from the adjoining room and I quickly tossed on a dress then ran out of the room.
