Derek's POV
As I sat in the car, a weird feeling of excitement sizzled through me, leaving me euphoric. Nothing seemed to make sense and neither could I get her out of my head. My hand moved to the stereo by the car, turning it up a bit. Music flooded the car, Irritating me a bit. I was pissed at why it had to come out as loud as it did, forgetting that I was the one who increased the volume before then.
A frown etched on my face as I quickly lowered the volume, shaking my head to the music that was playing. I remembered the feeling of my hand against her ass and damn, it made me smile.
"She's got such a soft ass," random thoughts ran through my head as I drove through the busy road.
"Watch where you're going, you Scumbag," I yelled at the good-for-nothing that was almost running into my car. My heart raced against my chest, Almost exploding.
"You should watch where you're going instead," the driver yelled back at me, shoving a finger in my face. I sneered as a strong urge to combat him came over me.
"Not today! Not Today," I said to myself in a low whispering voice and drove off, dancing as I went.
A quarter an hour and I was home. The sweet aroma of food hit me right In my nose. Thought to ignore it at first but then the worms in my tummy wouldn't just ignore it.
I turned the doorknob, revealing the large sitting room that was only a miniature part of my house or would I say my father's house.
"And who's home?" I called in a loud voice that resounded through the Room. The silence hit me right in the face, causing me to stagger.
"You're back," my mother's voice boomed through to me, startling me a bit. I clutched my chest, panting with bated breath.
"You scared me, Mom," I protested, my eyes almost popping out of their socket.
"Oh, did I? I didn't mean to. Why did you return so late?" She asked. My eyes flickered continuously as I thought of an excuse for her. None came to my head, leaving me speechless. The last thing I wanted was to explain my newly found feelings to her or anyone else. Explaining to her was like telling an unending tale.
"I was at a friend's place," I lied, handing my bag over to one of the maids who walked up to me. She gave a low bow and dashed off as quickly as she could.
"Okay then. I hope you aren't so exhausted. You look like you are.."
"Huh? You're wrong about that. I'm not exhausted one bit," I mumbled as a loud yawn escaped from my lips. My mother scoffed, her hands clasped together.
"You're not exhausted and you have such a wide yawn. Who do you think you're laughing at?" She laughed, staring me in the eyes.
"Fine…. You caught me already. I'm pretty exhausted and I just wanna go to bed. Is dad home?"
"No.. didn't he inform you?"
My brows creased as I tried to remember what she was talking about. "Inform me about what?"
"That he'll be travelling? Weren't you here when he mentioned it?" She seemed surprised and couldn't hide it even for a minute.
"Oh. Maybe he did. It must have slipped my mind. Anyways, can I have something to eat before going to bed, please?"
"That's not a problem. I'll have the maid bring you some food or would you rather have it in the dining room?"
"No, not at all. The room is fine. Thanks so much, mom. You're the best," I planted a kiss on her lips and dashed off as quickly as I could.
The moment I stepped into my room, I heaved a sigh of relief, grinning with excitement. How I managed to keep my excitement in check before my mom remained a mystery to me but somehow, I was pleased with it. I rolled my eyes in excitement as I flung myself on the bed with my eyes on the ceiling.
The picture of Arielle flooded my head at once. Her bright smile was friendly and cool. It left me euphoric and a strong feeling of want for her swept over me. I wanted to feel her in my hand. I wanted to hold her body against mine in the cool of the night.
"Damn! What's wrong with you man," I scolded myself as I was starting to grow a boner. I sighed, playing with my fingers like it was some toy.
Without warning, I flew to my feet and found my way to the bathroom a few inches away from where I was.
I felt itchy and only a cool bath could leave me comfortable.
"It's such a beautiful night. A cool night," my voice lingered through the bathroom as I sang to a beat playing in my head. Nothing mattered…. Only Arielle.
The cold water raced through my body, leaving me more relaxed than I had been all day.
Minutes later I was at the comfort of my bed with my eyes glued to my phone. "Dring!! Dring!" My phone beeped. My heart skipped a bit as I yanked it at once.
I glanced through it with reckless abandon and staring right at me was a message from Arielle.
"I knew it. She cannot do without me," I thought to myself with a sinister grin Laced to my brows. A few thoughts as I typed out a response for her. I was still doing this when a knock came on the door. I raised my head, wondering who it could be.
"Who's there?" I asked aloud, frowning hard.
"It's I, sir. Lilian."
"Oh, the maid. You're with my food right?" I inquired as I rose to my feet to answer the door.
"Yes, you're right sir.."
****
Morning came within the twinkle of an eye leaving me grouchy. The ray of sunlight seeped through a tiny gap between the curtains and right into my eyes leaving me no choice but to wake up. I stretched my hands in the air as sleep clouded my eyes. I was about to bury my body back on the bed when the loud alarm clock rang, shattering every hope of sleep within me.
My eyes flung open as a strong feeling of Anger swept over me. "Can't the damned clock just keep mute for once?" I Snapped, my hands clenched into fists. I Slammed my hands against it, shutting it at once like it was the reason I was grouchy. Perhaps it was.
I still wanted to sleep but then I realized it was morning already and it would only be a matter of time before my mom found her way into the room to wake me up. Reluctantly, I got up to prepare for school and was done in a jiffy, leaving me surprised. How I managed to pull that off remained a mystery to me when I normally would still be contemplating what to put on.
As I wore the second pair of shoes, a loud bang came against the door. I needed no one to tell me who it was.
"It's time for school Derek," she said in a calm and friendly voice just as she does when she's just at it. The third and subsequent calls weren't always so nice and somehow, I had managed to prevent those calls from reaching the third.
"I'm up and ready already Mom."
"Huh?" She seemed surprised as she turned the doorknob and stood in front of me. Well, I was surprised at myself too so I didn't feel weird about it.
"Well, you heard me right Mom. I'll be leaving now. I'll speak to you later. Got something important to do at school…:"
"Alright son. That's not a problem, but then you might not meet me at once. I'll be out of town until the weekend."
My brows creased as I wondered what could have her out of town.
"Anything special happening?"
"Nothing. I just thought of visiting your grandparents. It's nothing serious."
"That's cool. Not a Problem. Please take care of yourself," I kissed her on the lips, grabbed my backpack and raced out of the room. A thought ran through my head, leaving me excited. Now, I couldn't wait for her to leave so I could execute my plans. The thought of it alone gave me chills
