I said, I know about all the other men, too; don't make this harder than what it is." She yelled, "I am sorry, please, I will be the perfect wife and mate," and I said, "No, you won't, now get off pack land before I have you and your father killed." My mother entered and asked, "What's this, Roman?" "Are you marrying him off before tomorrow?" My father cleared his throat and said, "Saska was caught cheating, so she is banished." My mother looked shocked but not surprised and said, "Oh well," as my father called her over, placing a kiss on her lips. He mind-linked me, "You can have your pack, don't tell your mother, and I will stay out of your way." I warned, "Don't you ever hit her or cheat on her again, or I will take you out, old man," and turned around to leave when Saska yelled, "You will pay for this," and the guards dragged them out. I looked at Elder Kyle, who nodded before leaving; he was on my side and walked down to an abandoned flower hut overrun by torns. I thought about never mating a woman of the night or a pack slut after what happened when I saw a stone engraved with the names King Aidan and Queen Lily.
