Kelly cracked her eyes open and glared at the machine tracking her vitals. Opening her eyes wider, she pushed herself up a bit to study the information, not understanding much of it. There was her heart rate, her blood pressure, and some other information she didn’t understand. Frowning at it, she shook her head in irritation, wishing it would shut up long enough for her to sleep before sinking back into her pillows.
Shifting uncomfortably, the iv in the back of her hand twinging painfully, she bit back a groan. Looking down at her hand, she studied the back of it for a minute, trying to figure out how to get a little more comfortable without pulling on the iv again.
