Duffle bag in hand, Kelly slipped past the open door of Tate’s office as she made her way outside. Peeking over her shoulder as she paused at the door, she checked to make sure she hadn’t been seen. If Tate knew she had everything packed already and was loading the truck, he’d call off early. Not that that was an issue, but she really didn’t want him to fall behind. Late nights sucked.
