Living with a psychopath

Oh s**t!

                             It will surprise you the amount of things that can happen within 24 hours. I should seriously open my own reality show.

 Damon POV

      I feel so much unnecessary anger. I just want to kill everyone in my path. My inner vampire beast was unusually unstable and he wanted blood. This occasionally happens to some vampires when they haven't been feeding well or just whenever . But it practically never happens to a king. Sitting through this meeting was even a bigger problem. All I want to do is to leave here and fins Lizzy. My beast aches for her right now. What us that tiny brat doing to me. 

         I felt a hand touch me and I nearly barked in anger at the person that dared to touch me. I controlled my anger when I saw it was Crystal. Crystal is my father's choice in marriage. I have never found my mate and time is running out and apparently I need a woman by my side so he chose strong beautiful Crystal.

        Crystal comes from a long line of prestigious vampire warriors. She is the best of the best. The fastest, strongest and smartest. She's beneath only the royal family. Crystal is beautiful honestly she is with her long artificial blonde hair and eyelashes and her incredible body. I just don't like her as a woman. For starters my beast absolutely despises her for some reason best known to him and secondly she loves to show her dominance and show how high and prestige her family is unlike me.

               "Nicklaus dear, Do you agree in establishing trade" Crystal asked holding my hands.

   On a normal day I won't feel irritated by Crystal but today I wanted to yank her till she remembers she has no right to call me Nickalaus its King Nickalaus to her. I gritted my teeth as I looked at the mutts across the table. Werewolves. I despise these mutts. They destroyed our shipments and stole our gold. Now they suddenly want to establish trade with us. I don't think so.

     "Hmmm it seems like the leech king has lost his tongue". One of them said.

   " No wonder this kingdom is like this their ruler has stage fight".

"Their ruler can't even rule" The mutt responded.

           And for the second time in a row that same day.... I lost control. I flipped the table over and grabbed one of the dogs neck.

      "Listen to me you scavenger. You will not disrespect me. You came Into MY land to ask for our TRADE. So get that through your head that I can do whatever I want. Now listen to me you scavenger I don't care what your trying to get out but you will not steal from me again. Not now not ever. I won't establish a trade until when I damn feel like it!" I yelled angrily and let the mutt drop.

          I watched as he gasps for air. I could feel the stares from everyone in the room. This must be weird for th the king losing control over a mutt. But I know this is much more than a mutt. My beast is absolutely restless and I'm dealing different emotions at once. A foreign emotion sleeped through me leaving me shocked and shivering was that supossed to be fear?

       "We shall be in touch mutts make yourselves at home" I growled and stormed off.

     "Nickalaus, Nickalaus wait!" Crystal yelled. 

  I immediately stopped I know that title- less voice anywhere...crystal. Her stiletto clicking sounds suddenly became annoying I didn't admire her fake blond hair or her flawless skin as I used to. Now I feel like o should get far away from her.

   "Nickalaus what was that all about" She asked.

       I gritted my teeth how hard is it to call me king.

   "Nothing, if you excuse me"  I said starting to walk away.

  "Where are you going to. Are you gonna play with your toy" She taunted.

  I stopped short. "What did you say". My voice would have been enough for her to take her words back but Crystal is absolutely fearless

   " Oh please. Everyone heard about how you took an interest in one of those weak human little bitches".

   My eyelids twitched. My monster growled and my eyes flashed red. " Crystal stop it"

      "Awww you defending her. How cute. You always liked helping the helpless. But even for you what do you see in a worthless, mannerless piece of s**t like her. I heard all about how she taunted guards. Like honestly what would you see in a child like that"  She taunted.

           Crystal sure knew how to walk the thin line between harmless pray and brutal murder. My patience and monster were hanging by a thread. If she doesn't stop I won't be able to control him from lynching her. Not like I want to.

           "Last warning Crystal. Don't talk to her like that". I yelled. I have never defended anyone in my life now I'm threatening to kill someone over a human i met barely 24 hours ago. 

       " Are you seriously threatening me. I'm practically your wife. And all over some cheap w***e"

               That's it. My monster took over and he slammed Crystal against a wall. He just about had enough of her crap.

  "I won't kill you because I care about you but insult her one more time and I would forget you ever existed and end your life. You are not my wife yet. And for the last time call me king Nickalaus". I growled and let go of her. 

      I barely looked at her before I stormed off to my room. Kicking the open and finding it empty made me think of all the insane things that might have happened to her. I searched for her in anger. 

       My monster's restlessness increased and so many weird emotions flooded me. I felt like I know where she is but I still don't. I swallowed my fear and focused on her scent. She left here alone or I would have smelt someone else in Her.  I traced her overwhelming smell. 

              I finally reached the dungeon and I'm tempted to get back because I can't think of any reason why she would be here but her smell leads here. The first thing I noticed was that the cell were open and the prisoners were missing. My heart skipped a beat to think she could be in danger. 

             I heard screams in my head. Louder and louder begging someone to stop. I felt like clawing our my head cause the screams sounded just like Lizzy's. To think she was in danger and I wasn't there. Makes me want to kill everything walking. I kicked open the door to the room that had her strongest spell. 

             And everything goes in slow motion. Lizzy was lying down tied to the desk half naked , screaming and bleeding, while my top guard and personal friend was drinking her and attempting to r**e her.

    And suddenly all I see is red
