Chapter 5: Amanda Finds Her Home

I got out of the shower feeling refreshed. It was much needed. I put my last pair of clean clothes on, and headed out to find Luna Rose. Might as well get this over with now. I don't want to get used to the refreshing feeling of a bed when they are going to kick me out.
I opened the door and a man around Alpha Jared's height, big brown eyes, and curly brown hair. He was built in all the right places, and I was probably drooling the whole time I was staring. Still, the hole in my heart from Matt ached constantly.
Amanda: "Umm, excuse me... may you take me to Luna Rose please? She wanted to talk to me."
Brad: "I'm Brad, Alpha Jared's Beta. What's your name? I have to tell Luna Rose you're ready."
Amanda: "My name is Amanda. Do you know what she wants to talk about?"
Brad: GIGGLES. "Nothing bad. Luna Rose is sweet as pie, but just like a Rose, she'll surprise you with her thorns. She likes to help everyone. So, I'm sure she wants to help you."
We walked through the halls silently. I continued to get nervous with every step. We can to a huge beautiful wooden door. It has a mountain with a wolf's head on the peak carved into it. So beautiful.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Brad pulled me out of my thoughts.
Luna Rose: "Come in."
Here goes nothing. Brad opened the door and I walked in. He closed the door as I walked to the chairs in front of the desk. Behind the desk Luna Rose sat in a chair. Alpha Jared stood behind her. It' was a sign of respect. He wanted me to know this was all on Luna Rose, and he respected and agreed with his mates choices. My heart ached. A part of me wishes that I had that from my mate. I knew it was just Angela pushing her feelings out to me.
Luna Rose: "Please sit my dear. We just want to talk."
I sat in the chair to the right.
Luna Rose: "I know we don't know much about you. I will respect your privacy, but I hope you understand you have to share some details with us for us to understand. I wanted to talk to you about to understand more, and to ask you to stay. I will understand and respect your wishes if you deny us your stay, but I do think this could be your home."
Home? Stay? Why is she being so nice? No one has ever been that nice to me.
Amanda: "Umm, I am entirely grateful for your generosity Luna, but I don't know if I'll be that much help to your pack. I'm just an omega with no wolf."
Luna Rose c****d an eyebrow and smiled at me. Like she could read right through me.
Luna Rose: "If being an omega is the story you'd like to stick to, so be it, but I can sense your wolf. Dear Amanda, let me explain myself to you. I was blessed by the Goddess Selene when I was born. She saw how loving and nurturing I am, so she gave me the gift to feel everyone's true self. I can feel the powerful wolf you are trying to hide. I feel your hurt, but I also feel your loyalty. I really think Blue Mountain can be your home."
Home? I've never really felt like I ever had a home, but Luna Rose made me feel peaceful. Could this really be my home?
Angela: "Say yes to Luna. She is wise and helpful."
Amanda: "I feel the same way.."
I cut the mind link to answer Luna Rose.
Amanda: "Luna Rose, I'd like to make Blue Mountain my home."
Alpha Jared: "I'm so happy you took out invitation. I will announce your induction to the pack in two days at our pack meeting. Also, are you wanting to stick to bring an omega, or would you like to see what your wolf is made of?"
He gave me a smirk, and I know he was taunting me to give in and show them Angela and my true power. I smiled. I promised Angela when we found our home, I'd train and let her free to show her true self.
Angela already knew my answer, and was jumping around howling in excitement.
Amanda: "I'd like to train, please. I am very useful once I learn everything. I've kept my wolf and I a secret for too long."
With my last words being said I could feel Angela drop the shield, allowing Alpha and Luna to sense her. My true self. Their faces where ones of astonishment. No one has ever truly felt the power we possess. Well, I guess we are home.
For once I had a true place to call home. My home.
