Valentine and Camille had spent minutes just holding each other in the room upstairs; they really enjoy each other’s company. They had taken a shower together as was becoming very normal for them and then went downstairs so they could have breakfast. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Everheart had already eaten but just sat at the dining table deep in conversation when their old friend came down from the stairs with their daughter following behind and holding his hand. They sat down as though they had not noticed her parents there and had breakfast. They made it as annoying as they could for her parents by feeding each other at intervals and pecking between bites of their toast and omelets. They cleared their dishes
